Our most popular General English language course consists of 20 lessons of General English Fluency group classes per week. The classes focus on improving your accuracy, fluency, and confidence in the English language. With a focus on real-life grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation you will be better able to communicate successfully with people from all over the world. This course runs in the afternoon.

Our Methodology and Language Development course is intended for non-native English teachers who wish to refresh their own language skills and examine different teaching methods and approaches. This course provides opportunities for teachers to discuss and share ideas with colleagues from Europe and beyond.

Description​General English programmes are suitable for everyone and provide a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. With a strong focus on communication skills, these courses also provide a solid foundation in the key skills required in the Trinity College London ISE Examinations as well as Cambridge examinations.The method used is task-based, which means that by the end of each level students are expected to be able to complete a certain amount of tasks through English. There is a central course book and workbook and teachers supplement these using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, menus, manuals, brochures and a range of other books.All courses incorporate the use of Digital Interactive Whiteboards, the Internet and audio-visual technology. AwardISI Certificate in English. Teachers give detailed feedback throughout the course on how you can improve in each technique. 

The exam preparation courses are designed to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.

IELTS Examination CourseIELTS is the International English Language Testing System which tests English proficiency across the globe. The IELTS Examination Course focuses on developing key techniques and strategies for the IELTS Examination. Participants complete regular practice tests and are taught how to approach all the sections of the test effectively. Our Academic Team are available to assist with the application process for the IELTS Examination.IELTS examination preparation courses will run year-round subject to a minimum number of participants, starting from Target Score 5.0 (subject to an entrance test). The examination fee is not included in the course fees.

Our CLIL course is intended for non-native teachers of other subjects who wish to develop their own English language skills and examine the methodology of CLIL - Content and Language Integrated Learning. This course provides opportunities for teachers to discuss and share ideas with colleagues from Europe and beyond.
