Description​General English programmes are suitable for everyone and provide a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. With a strong focus on communication skills, these courses also provide a solid foundation in the key skills required in the Trinity College London ISE Examinations as well as Cambridge examinations.The method used is task-based, which means that by the end of each level students are expected to be able to complete a certain amount of tasks through English. There is a central course book and workbook and teachers supplement these using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, menus, manuals, brochures and a range of other books.All courses incorporate the use of Digital Interactive Whiteboards, the Internet and audio-visual technology. AwardISI Certificate in English. Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

These courses consist of 20 lessons of exam preparation each week. They are taught by experienced teachers and, in addition to improving your ability to communicate more fluently and accurately, include a focus on the best techniques to use to help you get the best result in each paper.

This English language Academic Year commonly known as the Work and Study Programme in Ireland is designed for students from outside of the EU. You can work and study in Ireland with this 8-month course. The structure of this course is: during the first 6 months you will receive English language lessons that will take you as far as possible in the learning curve. And then, you will have 2 months of vacation in which you will be able to enroll in any other forms of activities. This course runs in the mornings and also prepares you to do the IELTS test.

Students follow the Standard Course in the mornings and have Business English lessons three afternoons per week.The Business English lessons are designed for students who wish to improve their communicative proficiency in a business environment. The lessons can be tailored to suit the needs of any particular group of students and focus primarily on the specialised language of Business English.Please note that this course only runs if we have a minimum of 8 students booked.The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. 1 lesson in the UK = 45 minutes1 lesson in Ireland = 55 minutes

Berlitz Dublin’s Cambridge Certificate Preparation Course has been designed to prepare participants for entry into Cambridge Examinations process. The Cambridge Certificate Preparation course is delivered as both a stand-alone course and a Skills Module within our English Pathways Programme which can suit students with a busy schedule.

Our long-term English language Academic Year Programmes (AYP) offer you a substantial level of flexibility. You can combine different modules and courses to suit your individual requirements. Long-term program students usually begin in our Intensive English Language Course to gain a firm understanding of general English skills.

Language and Culture - Ireland is a vibrant centre of culture in the English language, coloured by the unique heritage and history of Ireland. This course aims to combine language refresher sessions with an introduction to and exploration of the life and culture of this unique location. It will be a mix of classroom work and excursions to see the sights. This English course allows Non-EU students to progress through at least two levels over an 8-month period and gain a professional, internationally-recognized English qualification. This English Academic Year can serve as a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a strong focus on communication. This course has 15 per week and runs in the mornings!!!
