These courses are designed to prepare you for the IELTS academic English exams, with focused training in exam strategies and techniques to allow you to maximise your potential and achieve the grade you need. The semi intensive course is combined with English for Academic Purpose four afternoons a week.

If your goal is to experience one of the most beautiful places on Earth and improve your English speaking skills for work, travel or college, Global Village Hawaii offers you the perfect balance of serious learning and serious fun! The General English Program (GEP) teaches English communicatively. Students learn through interaction in English, and by performing action-oriented tasks. Their improvement is tracked weekly, so each student can progress at their own rate, from beginner to advanced! Just decide how long you would like to study English, as well as how many English lessons you would like to take a week — 16, 20 or 25 lessons, and we will take care of the rest! Schedule: Tuesday To Friday. 8:30 – 12:10 OR 13:20 – 17:00, schedule will be determined by the class level.

IELTS is Langports’ unique intensive IELTS preparation program. To help you succeed at the test, our experienced IELTS teachers will help you improve the 4 major skills essential for the exam – listening, reading, speaking and writing – but also provide an in-depth focus on “micro skills” such as spelling, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, intonation, speaking strategies and much more!2 modules available so students can study either for 5 or 10 weeksPre-test required for entry (minimum level required for IELTS is 4.5)Intensive training for the academic version of the examRegular progress reports and weekly feedback

In the Volunteer Experience, you will volunteer with a socially forward, dynamic, and innovative organization. Put your French language skills to the test by supporting important initiatives and causes in areas like the environment, community involvement, non-profit, arts, tourism, and social/humanitarian.

If TOEFL is not open, ILAC will offer a different option!!This is a great option for students who want to develop English skills for employment and practical business situations.Topics include negotiating, networking, managing meetings, interviewing, and socializing in a business environment. Students learn how to write effective business memos, letters, e-mails, informal and formal reports and presentation materials.Students also gain the ability to give effective presentations and develop the skills necessary to pass the Cambridge Business English Examination (BEC), which is internationally recognized and tests the skills for using English in the workplace.ILAC accepts students every Monday, however, students are strongly encouraged to begin on Main Start Dates.
