Do you want to give a presentation in German or did you notice that you generally have problems finding the right expressions? Don’t worry… with both our special courses Business German and Business German Plus you’ll freshen up your knowledge of German in a very short time – no matter in which context you need to use our language. Because a characteristic of both business courses is the focusing on teaching basic language structures as well as the practically, goal oriented training of the subject matter you have defined.The business German courses are designed as individual instruction and are focusing directly on improving, refreshing and the acquisition of specialized and professionally oriented subjects. You are an engineer and would like to present yourself successfully on international conferences? We are going to prepare you for this task and can guarantee you quick results! You will have the choice between 4 and 12 lessons per day and you also have the choice – in case you want to take a maximum of progress at a minimum of time – taking these lessons as a compact course covering one week and 2 full weekends. If you decide for 12 lessons of German instruction per day you can even expect one of your teachers keeping you company at lunch!

The Business English Intensive course combines 20 group lessons (15 hours) of a maximum of 6 learners with 10 private tuition lessons (7.5 hours) in the afternoon. Following a Business English course allows you to improve your English for career or work purposes. The course will help you develop the core language skills which are necessary for business such as listening, speaking, reading and business writing. You will you become more fluent and confident meeting other business people speaking about business-related topics. In addition, you will develop your knowledge of the language (grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation) in the context of general business topics. 

This option combines 50% 1:1 lessons with 50% small group (with a maximum of 4 students) and offers the advantages of both individual and group tuition. The 1:1 mornings concentrate on the individual’s specific language difficulties and specialist vocational vocabulary; the afternoons focus on communication and intercultural exchange with participants of different nationalities and commercial backgrounds in the context of professional situations for example; – presentations, meetings, negotiating, leading an international team, intercultural awareness in working environments.

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Description​General English programmes are suitable for everyone and provide a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. With a strong focus on communication skills, these courses also provide a solid foundation in the key skills required in the Trinity College London ISE Examinations as well as Cambridge examinations.The method used is task-based, which means that by the end of each level students are expected to be able to complete a certain amount of tasks through English. There is a central course book and workbook and teachers supplement these using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, menus, manuals, brochures and a range of other books.All courses incorporate the use of Digital Interactive Whiteboards, the Internet and audio-visual technology. AwardISI Certificate in English. Course start date: : Each Monday for all levels except for complete beginners. Several sectors are available: business, tourism, medical, law, sustainable development or the military.
