English Courses

Our standard General English language course allows you to improve all areas of your English language: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing. General English is available as a standard course (24 lessons per week). In this General English language course, you will: - Learn ‘real’ English using the latest course books and materials. - Learn, review and put into practice new language every day. - Be able to develop your communication skills by working with other students doing activities such as role-plays, pair work and group discussions. - Explore new techniques to help you improve your listening and reading. - Practise and improve your writing skills by analysing and producing documents such as emails, formal and informal letters and reports. - Have regular tutorials with your teacher to discuss your progress. - Get up to 2 hours of homework each evening.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

When you book an inlingua package, we take care of all the details of your course. This package includes: 24 weeks General English 20 lessons + 20 weeks General English 30 lessons + 4 weeks Business 20 lessons or IELTS 30 lessons + Airport Transfers + Registration + 1 Coursebook.

This General English Intensive language course consists on 20 lessons of the Core Program, where you will study the most important aspects of learning English, including vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, which will help you improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing. And, apart from that, you can choose 4 more lessons between options like exam preparation, skills, specialized English...

This course is composed of: 20 Lessons per week; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 16 hours 40 minutes; 15 students max. per class; Age 16+. During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines. The Intensive Course is our most popular choice. It combines 20 general English lessons (15 hours) with 8 Special Interest Group (SIG) lessons per week (6 hours). In the general English lessons, students will focus on improving their English language skills across the 4 key skill areas at a consistent rate — reading, writing, listening and speaking. In the Special Interest Group lessons, students can choose from a number of different options based on their own interests and language learning goals. Example options include — Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge); Business English; Group Discussion; Art and Design; Speech and Pronunciation; Academic Writing Skills; etc. The Intensive Course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

This General English language course is made up of 20 lessons per week/15 hours per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want to study at a steady pace (Morning classes only)

ILSC offers a wide range of courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule. Most courses are offered at many different levels and last four weeks.

Our General English Language courses aim to improve every aspect of your English so that you can communicate effectively with speakers from across the globe. Our approach is to provide a stimulating and highly interactive environment in which you can develop your language skills. Lesson content concentrates on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Every week you will work on developing and improving all language skill areas, with a focus on active communication in real life situations. You will also be given regular homework and weekly tests to check your progress. The 3 daily classes of 60 minutes will take place in the time slots detailed below. The exact schedule is assigned on the first day of class, according to your level. This course is available in the mornings from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm
