Students follow the Standard Course in the mornings and have Business English lessons three afternoons per week.The Business English lessons are designed for students who wish to improve their communicative proficiency in a business environment. The lessons can be tailored to suit the needs of any particular group of students and focus primarily on the specialised language of Business English.Please note that this course only runs if we have a minimum of 8 students booked.The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. 1 lesson in the UK = 45 minutes1 lesson in Ireland = 55 minutes

Language and Culture - Ireland is a vibrant centre of culture in the English language, coloured by the unique heritage and history of Ireland. This course aims to combine language refresher sessions with an introduction to and exploration of the life and culture of this unique location. It will be a mix of classroom work and excursions to see the sights. CES is delighted to announce for 2018 new university pathway pre-sessional English language programme in cooperation with NCUK. Students will study at CES for 3, 6 or 9 months to raise their IELTS score to the level required to join our partner delivering the Northern Consortium Foundation Programme (NCUK).This will provide guaranteed access to OVER 300 University courses in universities in the UK and Ireland (subject to achieving correct IELTS and foundation results). The programme will provide expert preparation for the IELTS exam as well as giving students the academic study skills required to succeed in the further and higher education environment.

These courses consist of 20 lessons of exam preparation each week. They are taught by experienced teachers and, in addition to improving your ability to communicate more fluently and accurately, include a focus on the best techniques to use to help you get the best result in each paper.

This English course allows Non-EU students to progress through at least two levels over an 8-month period and gain a professional, internationally-recognized English qualification. This English Academic Year can serve as a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a strong focus on communication. This course has 20 per week and runs in the mornings!!!

Our long-term English language Academic Year Programmes (AYP) offer you a substantial level of flexibility. You can combine different modules and courses to suit your individual requirements. Long-term program students usually begin in our Intensive English Language Course to gain a firm understanding of general English skills.

Our CLIL course is intended for non-native teachers of other subjects who wish to develop their own English language skills and examine the methodology of CLIL - Content and Language Integrated Learning. This course provides opportunities for teachers to discuss and share ideas with colleagues from Europe and beyond.

Intensive Plus IELTS PreparationOur Intensive Plus Examination programmes combine the Intensive Course in the morning with afternoon classes of exam-specific preparation. The course focuses on the four skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing and on developing IELTS examination techniques and strategies.IELTS examination preparation courses will run year-round subject to a minimum number of participants, starting from Target Score 5.0 (subject to an entrance test). The examination fee is not included in the course fees.
