Our long-term English language Academic Year Programmes (AYP) offer you a substantial level of flexibility. You can combine different modules and courses to suit your individual requirements. Long-term program students usually begin in our Intensive English Language Course to gain a firm understanding of general English skills. This course offers 20 hours of study per week.

Ideal for those who wish to learn a language quickly and wish to incorporate a flexible lesson schedule. Lessons are on a one-to-one basis and the schedule can be morning, afternoon or evening dependent on your requirements. This programme format allows you to develop your own tailor-made programme covering key areas of General English and/or Business English. Perfect for business executives, senior managers , junior executives

English for Academic Purposes courses provide language instruction for students who wish to study at a university where English is the language of instruction. Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development for University levels.

The Cambridge Examination Preparation Courses are designed to prepare students for one of the following Cambridge Examinations:First Certificate in English (FCE)Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)The Cambridge Examinations usually take place four times a year in March, June, August and December. Our courses are scheduled to finish the week before the exam date. Students are advised to arrive one week before the course start date to allow time for assessment. We cannot accept a student for any examination course until CES have confirmed the student is at the appropriate level for their chosen examination. Every student is then appointed a tutor to monitor and continually assess their progress with CES.*The First Certificate course is guaranteed to run in CES Dublin. The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. 1 lesson in the UK = 45 minutes1 lesson in Ireland = 55 minutes

With a strong focus on communication skills, these courses also provide a solid foundation in the key skills required in the Trinity College London ISE Examinations as well as Cambridge examinations.The method used is task-based, which means that by the end of each level students are expected to be able to complete a certain amount of tasks through English. There is a central course book and workbook and teachers supplement these using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, menus, manuals, brochures and a range of other books.All courses incorporate the use of Digital Interactive Whiteboards, the Internet and audio-visual technology. AwardISI Certificate in English. Students have the option of sitting the relevant Trinity College London ISE examination, which takes place in the school, or oneof the Cambridge Examinations at an external exam centre.Entry requirementsStudents must be at least 18 years old on the start date.
