An Intensive Language Course at Sprachcaffe / Languages PLUS in English is the ideal choice for a more in-depth focus on the language. Whether you are a complete beginner or simply wish to brush up on your languages, this course will be of real benefit in helping you to achieve your language goals. With the Intensive Course, more emphasis is placed on learning, thus leaving less free time for extra curricular activities. Six daily lessons help you to make effective progress in a much shorter time.Intensive Course structure The six lessons that you will have each day are as follows:* 2 lessons - grammar and general vocabulary exercises* 2 lessons - conversation* 2 lessons - reading, understanding texts, listening, writing. The course structure may vary depending on the individual teachers and students. The topics may refer to current articles from local newspapers and magazines. We work with texts that match the students' language skills. This way, the texts and topics can be discussed actively by the group.

We continue to check your progress with regular meetings to make sure you achieve your aims.

We offer General English language courses for all levels, from beginner to proficiency. We also offer timetables that give you the flexibility to choose a course that best suits your needs from 1-36+ weeks. We believe that you will learn faster and more effectively if your lessons are engaging, fun and relevant, that’s why our teachers use a range of techniques and develop classes that are motivating and build your confidence. This will allow time to focus on any areas of weakness. Any weekly programme is influenced not only by the course book syllabus but also by the learning goals and interests of the students in any one group.

Our standard General English language course allows you to improve all areas of your English language: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing. General English is available as an intensive course (28 lessons per week). For the intensive course you can choose from our optional classes which include Communication Skills, Grammar and Writing, IELTS Preparation and many more. You can select these optional classes in the booking menu. On the Intensive courses, you will: - Learn ‘real’ English using the latest course books and materials. - Learn, review and put into practice new language every day. - Be able to develop your communication skills by working with other students doing activities such as role-plays, pair work and group discussions. - Explore new techniques to help you improve your listening and reading. - Practise and improve your writing skills by analysing and producing documents such as emails, formal and informal letters and reports. - Have regular tutorials with your teacher to discuss your progress. - Get up to 2 hours of homework each evening. Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.
