The standard Beginners English Language Course will help you develop your basic English language skills and to build your confidence when communicating in English. You will study every morning, and on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons are free for self study, for you to join our social activities or explore London. On this course, you will: - Learn the basic structures in English - Focus on building your vocabulary - Practise the language learned by doing pair work and role-plays - Develop your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills

In this General English language course you will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains, skills and competencies appropriate to your level of ability. Objectives: This programme of study is intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context. You will improve your language skills and also enhance your inter-cultural communication.

This English language course is designed for learners aged 40+ who wish to combine studying English with spending time exploring the city of London and British culture. Lessons take place in the morning, with excursions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, and one full day excursion on Saturday. Tuition takes place over 26 lessons, 20 of these take place in the classroom and 6 take place in different locations around London. The total number of hours is 21 hours and 40 minutes.

Our General English courses are our most popular kind of course. They will improve your overall English language ability. We focus on all the key areas, such as speaking, reading, writing and listening. After you finish a course, you will be given a report and certificate. KAE is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English in the UK, so you can be sure of the quality of our courses. Each week has specific vocabulary and grammar aims which are tested at the end of each week. Classes start in the morning and finish at lunchtime, leaving the afternoons to enjoy London. Students will get 15 hours of lesson time per week. Regular homework and in class tests will be given.

The course is semi-intensive and available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced, with classes made up of different levels. This course gives you the opportunity of living and learning more about the culture and social life of both England and Ireland. Our special long term rates are only available to CES agents. Bookings must be a minimum of 24 weeks to avail of these rates. Students have the opportunity to really further their English language, by learning over a greater length of time. If long term students have the appropriate level, they are welcome to move to our IELTS/Cambridge Examination Preparation Courses or General English with Business English! You can divide your stay as you wish and you can start your course in either England or Ireland - we leave the choice to you. We do recommend that all students who require a visa start their Multi-Destination course in the UK.

This semi-intensive General English language course is made up of 25 lessons per week/18.7 hours per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want a combination of morning and mid-day classes.
