We offer General English language courses for all levels, from beginner to proficiency. We also offer timetables that give you the flexibility to choose a course that best suits your needs from 1-36+ weeks. We believe that you will learn faster and more effectively if your lessons are engaging, fun and relevant, that’s why our teachers use a range of techniques and develop classes that are motivating and build your confidence. This will allow time to focus on any areas of weakness. Any weekly programme is influenced not only by the course book syllabus but also by the learning goals and interests of the students in any one group.

ATA and AYA programmes differ from shorter courses at LSI because students receive a greater level of academic support and management, including two additional weekly sessions with a teacher. An individual study plan is designed for you to suit your level, individual aims and the duration of your course. We continue to check your progress with regular meetings to make sure you achieve your aims.

The Academic Year Programmes are designed for long-term English language training and are ideal if you plan to study English for 6 months or more. They provide excellent value for money and a flexible approach to your studies. You can choose from any of our standard or intensive course provided you meet the entry requirements. This course is perfect for those who want to study at a UK university or develop their business careers.

The Intensive Course is our most popular choice. It combines 20 general English lessons (15 hours) with 8 Special Interest Group (SIG) lessons per week (6 hours). In the general English lessons, students will focus on improving their English language skills across the 4 key skill areas at a consistent rate — reading, writing, listening and speaking. In the Special Interest Group lessons, students can choose from a number of different options based on their own interests and language learning goals. Example options include — Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge); Business English; Group Discussion; Art and Design; Speech and Pronunciation; Academic Writing Skills; etc. The Intensive Course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

This General English language course is made up of 20 lessons per week/15 hours per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want to study at a steady pace (Morning classes only)

This course includes the General English classes, and also allows you to personalise your course by taking an additional 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of electives. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course. As your English and your confidence improve, you will broaden your horizons and gain a huge advantage in your chosen career or education. This programme is for students who study for 24 weeks or more.

Our General English language courses are our most popular kind of course. They will improve your overall English language ability. We focus on all the key areas, such as speaking, reading, writing and listening. After you finish a course, you will be given a report and certificate. KAE is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English in the UK, so you can be sure of the quality of our courses. Our intensive course is great for those that need to improve quickly. Students will learn how to use English clearly and accurately within a short period. This course will also educate students on how to use English naturally in everyday situations. Classes focus on accuracy, fluency and pronunciation. In the mornings we focus on grammar and English language use. In the afternoons, we focus on speaking, listening, reading, fluency and pronunciation. Students on this course should expect to make big improvements in their English skills.

Our English 20 language course allows you to develop language skills and confidence by making the course about you and your specific needs. The course provides you with core English for Life study classes and an additional class each day focusing on speaking, plus one other language area you need to improve.
