In the course, you will learn to greet, introduce yourself, talk about yourself (family, leisure, studies, work, etc.) and make purchases. We practice very natural pronunciation. You can read simple dialogues and shorter texts and practice understanding spoken Swedish. This course is suitable for students who wish to improve their fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation in a language. There is an emphasis on language for everyday situations and classes may involve discussing topics such as film and theatre, current events, politics, local culture and the internet.

We offer General English language courses for all levels, from beginner to proficiency. We also offer timetables that give you the flexibility to choose a course that best suits your needs from 1-36+ weeks. We believe that you will learn faster and more effectively if your lessons are engaging, fun and relevant, that’s why our teachers use a range of techniques and develop classes that are motivating and build your confidence. This will allow time to focus on any areas of weakness. Any weekly programme is influenced not only by the course book syllabus but also by the learning goals and interests of the students in any one group.

This General English language course has 10 lessons per week. 1 lesson: 50 minutes; 15 Students maximum per class; Course length: 1-11 weeks; Hours per week: 8 hours 20 minutes; Ages 16+. The aim of this General English language course is to help you improve your English language skills, make progress and achieve your goals. Learning English in an English-speaking country is ideal because it allows you to perfect your English language skills quickly and easily with practice both inside and outside the classroom. This 20 English lessons per week offer greater flexibility – you can study at home for part of the day, spend time exploring the city, or even combine it with private one-to-one lessons for a more intensive and personal experience. This course runs in the mornings!!!

General English Language Afternoon Courses at Lexis English offer students the flexibility of combining their English language education with a large range of options classes – personalising each student’s course to suit their academic needs. For students wanting to brush up their English skills for travelling, employment or to work towards a placement in one of our academic programs or Certificate or Diploma courses, our General English course is designed to get results. We understand that every english student comes to Australia with unique goals, plans and learning needs. Lexis 360° is our student care program designed to ensure that all Lexis students receive individual support and attention, initiating the most successful study experience possible. General English Part-Time is CRICOS registered and consists of a minimum of 15 hours per week.

During the course, you will learn to talk about working life, education, and living in past, present and future. We practice a lot of natural pronunciation.

The standard Beginners English Language Course will help you develop your basic English language skills and to build your confidence when communicating in English. You will study every morning, and on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons are free for self study, for you to join our social activities or explore London. On this course, you will: - Learn the basic structures in English - Focus on building your vocabulary - Practise the language learned by doing pair work and role-plays - Develop your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills

During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book in conjunction with a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines.
