Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

This course is made of 20 General Spanish language lessons plus5 private lessons a week. This means 1 extra private lesson per day, Monday to Friday. The private lessons are usually scheduled right before or right after your group lessons. This course is perfect if there is a subject you want to especially focus on, such as Spanish use in a business or medical environment, fluency, or some grammar issues you might find more challenging.

Our Intensive English language course helps students improve all their skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and learn the grammar, vocabulary and cultural knowledge necessary for living in the UK and using English in an international context. We focus on practical, effective and natural communication and you will get at least five pieces of new language in each 45-minute class.

Studying the Intensive version of the General English language course at ACET will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from a beginner to fluency at a faster pace. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

The standard individual course is the Individual 20 course, consisting of 4 private Spanish lessons daily, from Monday to Friday. If this is too intense, we recommend the Individual 10, consisting of 2 private Spanish lessons daily from Monday to Friday.

Designed especially for mature learners, this English language +30 Core Course focuses on speaking and listening, and expressing yourself on day-to-day topics. Characteristics of the course: Focus is on all 4 skills, speaking, writing, listening, reading; Practical grammar; Communication is key, with plenty of opportunity for practice; Dynamic and interactive classroom environment; Authentic materials – newspaper, video and audio recordings; focus on pronunciation; constant correction and feedback from your teacher; all books or materials are included in the fees.

A 30-lesson per week Spanish Language course especially recommended for short period stays. You will leave feeling more confident, with improved overall communications skills, fluency in Spanish, and complete independence. Optimised time and results with 4 morning (in groups of 5-10) and 2 afternoon lessons (in groups of maximum 5 to 8 students). If only 1 or 2 students enrol for a certain level, the lessons from 13:30 – 15:10 will be adjusted to 5 private or semi-private lessons per week.

As well as taking lessons, you will have plenty of time to sight-see and explore your destination. The course is semi-intensive, and is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced, with classes made up of different levels. The focus is on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and all our schools offer extensive and varied activities programs to help you make the most of your destination.

Whichever category you fall under (or maybe you’re a bit of both), our intensive course can be customised for you. This General English language course is designed to give you a solid introduction to the English language and devotes special attention to grammar, vocabulary building, conversation and pronunciation. A Long Stay course has to be a minimum of 8 weeks long.
