The Intensive French Language course C includes the morning General French Language Course A and two-afternoon workshops of your choice. This ACCORD Intensive French language course allows our students to focus on specific skills and subjects. For example, if you need to boost your confidence join the two ‘Oral communication’ workshops. If you want to find out about French culture, join the two workshops dedicated to ‘French Culture and Civilisation’. This Intensive French language course C is open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced. Couse start dates is every Monday but for beginners is the first Monday of the month. The hours of this course are from Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm and two afternoons from 2:15pm to 5:15pm.

Our Intensive English language course offers a fast, enjoyable and effective way to improve your English language skills, whatever your current language level is. You have the opportunity to customize your course with specific skills lessons, including business English and exam preparation. The course allows you to quickly achieve English fluency and learn grammar and vocabulary that will be useful in every day English. You can study for as long as you need to, and by doing so will improve your opportunities in future academic and professional endeavours.

The Standard General English Course takes place all year round. Lessons are held every morning, from Monday to Friday (09.30 – 13.00 in the UK). Students will work on improving the skills involved with speaking, listening, reading and writing, so that they can improve their comprehension and communicate more freely. They will work on their linguistic knowledge, increasing their vocabulary and deepening their understanding of the grammar and structure of the language. Courses at CES are communicative and task-based, using the most up to date technology and authentic materials. Students are then free in the afternoons to join our exciting social programme, use the self-access facilities, or to explore the rich history and culture of Ireland and the UK.

By following a General English group course of 30 lessons per week, you develop all your core language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and improve your general level of English and understanding in all areas of language knowledge. This means that you study and improve grammar in context, expand your vocabulary around everyday topics and improve your pronunciation. By the end of your course, you can expect to be a more confident and fluent user of English. 

The Standard French Language course consists of 20 lessons per week of group instruction. Teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic documents and listening comprehension. Note that during the summer high season, some Intensive and Standard courses are only available in the afternoon. Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials. Each week you will receive: − 20 English lessons (15 hours) − 7 Sessions of K+ (5.25 hours) ⦿ Total: 15 hours per week + 5.25 hours of K+

The ACCORD French Oral Communication lessons are open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced. The French Oral Communication Course encourages our students to focus on improving confidence in speaking and listening in French in a range of everyday situations! At ACCORD Paris the two afternoon classes dedicated to French Oral Communication are Mondays and Fridays. The French Oral Communication afternoon lessons are available to adult students aged 16+.

St Giles Vancouver offers the International Semester Course to students wishing to experience Canadian life and study General English for 6 months or longer. Additional modules also available at St Giles Vancouver are: Cambridge English, IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC exam preparation, and English for Business.

The Combination Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday (09.30-13.00 in the UK). Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. All morning courses are based on our CES Curriculum Framework Document which has common CEF learning objectives for each level. In addition each course is supported by published an EFL course book and its syllabus. Teachers complement this syllabus. Course books are sold at the schools at shop prices and students must buy one on their first day. Second hand books may also be available.Levels available: Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2),  Intermediate (B1), Upper Intermediate (B2) Advanced (C1). There are two afternoons a week of one-to-one lessons, designed to meet the individual requirements of each student. Prior to the first one-to-one session, students complete a Needs Analysis which helps the teacher to plan the one-to-one lessons according to the student’s specific needs. Teachers then work closely with the student to ensure these needs are being met. All students receive a final report detailing their progress and outlining future areas for attention. The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. A combination course is 26.6 lessons (20 hours) per week.15 hours General English in the mornings and 5 hours one-to-one lessons in the afternoons in the UK and in Ireland 20 hours in the morning and 5 hours one to one lessons.
