Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing. *Morning 20 & Afternoon 20 include 18 lessons plus 2 study blocks for F-1 students. General Ukrainian language program in a group is the best way to study Ukrainian language abroad for those who prefer get quality knowledge with budget saving option and communication with other students. This kind of Ukrainian language learning program usually means a bit less individual attention but more fun because of interactions in a group. Before the program starts each student is tested to estimate the level of Ukrainian language skills, and due to the results students are divided into groups of 2-8 participants with the same level. On average our groups contain maximum 4 students because of different levels of the students and personal learning needs. Learning books and certificate of attendance included.

For students who want to take their language learning to the next level, this option builds on the daily skills and language focus with an opportunity to develop in specific areas. Through a combination of Task Based Learning and traditional skills lessons, you will be a part of a class with a specific goal in mind where all areas of language use are activated naturally and effectively.The minimum number to run a level is 5 students per class.

This General English language course consists of the 20 morning classes plus 20 afternoon specialised elective lessons per week, allowing students to maximise their study day and develop a wide variety of skills. Our General English Super Intensive course covers the key language learning areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening, using one-to-one tutorials and regular progress tests to respond to the student’s individual learning needs.

Our General English language course is our flagship course. This programme combines our General English tuition with a unique curriculum designed to develop your 21st Century Skills and prepare you for career success. The course develops the confidence and skills you need to express yourself powerfully and is ideal if you wish to enter the workforce or advance your career at home or abroad. General English is the centre of our teaching at British Study Centres and will improve your English communication skills in an engaging, interactive way. Using materials from National Geographic Learning and a coursebook that has been specifically designed for BSC, learn new vocabulary, understand English grammar and get support in the areas you need it the most. *Note: 20 lessons = 15 hrs

If you’re hoping to develop your language skills in a short amount of time, our Platinum Courses are the ideal option for you. They are designed for busy professionals, executives and mature learners who hope to improve quickly. You can choose to study in specialised one-to-one sessions, where the lessons are tailor-made to meet your specific personal needs. It’s entirely up to you how many of these lessons you have per week and the teacher can, if you choose, focus on your specialised professional area. Alternatively, you can opt for small group sessions where classes will have a maximum of five students. Your lessons will take place in one of our dedicated Platinum Centres, which have comfortable modern classrooms and a Platinum Clubhouse for you to enjoy outside of class. On a Platinum course, you will have the opportunity to meet and network with other professionals from all over the world.

This group course is designed for beginner students learning English for the first time.It is a carefully structured programme of 2-4 weeks, with 20 or 28 lessons per week. There is also an option for 22 lessons per week at our schools in New York and San Francisco.After the course, students can progress onto a longer General English or International Semester Course at A1 (elementary) level. You can also choose to increase your progress during your stay by taking 5 or more additional One-to-one lessons per week

The General English Afternoon course offered by Cork English Academy is a 15 hours per week module which runs Monday to Friday 13:45 to 17:00 with a 15 minutes break each day.The daily three hour lesson covers all of the English language skills – speaking, listening, reading and writing with an emphasis on speaking and listening. The main focus of the General English 15 hour course is on communication skills in real life settings.Course books, workbooks and supplementary material including authentic materials such as newspaper articles newspapers, DVDs, the Internet, books and other media are utilized by the teacher to meet the language needs of all the individuals in the class.
