This course combines 20 lessons of General English classes with additional individual lessons in the afternoons. The morning sessions give you the opportunity to learn in a group setting and practise your skills with other learners. The afternoon sessions allow you to focus in on individual strengths and areas for improvement with your teacher. Before beginning this course, you will complete a needs analysis and interview with a senior member of our academic team so that we can design an individualised programme that meets your needs and requirements.

The GE Fluency Intensive 32 is one of our most intensive general English courses. It allows students to combine 20 lessons of general English in the mornings with 12 lessons of individual training in the afternoons. Before beginning their intensive English language course, students will complete a needs analysis and interview with our Academic Manager to design their individual afternoon program.

This programme allows Non-EU students to progress through at least two levels over an 8-month period and gain a professional, internationally-recognised English qualification. Students on this programme can work 20 hours per week during the 6-month study period, and 40 hours per week during the 2 month holiday.
Award
All students who successfully complete the programme receive the ISI Certificate in English. Non-EU students must complete an official examination at the end
of the programme such as Trinity ISE, FCE, CAE and IELTS.
Entry requirements
Students should be at least 18 years old on the course start date.
Students on Academic Year Academic Year 15 (AY15) programmes are integrated with the General English classes. This creates an international mix of students, each doing courses of different durations. With a full 25-week programme, Academic Year students can expect to progress through at
least two levels during their course before completing their final exit examination. Our morning classes offer a greater international mix of students, while the
discounted afternoon classes tend to have fewer nationalities.

Our General English is our flagship course. This programme combines our General English tuition with a unique curriculum designed to develop your 21st Century Skills and prepare you for career success. The course develops the confidence and skills you need to express yourself powerfully and is ideal if you wish to enter the workforce or advance your career at home or abroad. General English is the centre of our teaching at British Study Centres and will improve your English communication skills in an engaging, interactive way. Using materials from National Geographic Learning and a coursebook that has been specifically designed for BSC, learn new vocabulary, understand English grammar and get support in the areas you need it the most. *Note: 30 lessons = 22.5 hrs

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Designed for students who wish to combine a group course with private lessons to acquire a deeper knowledge of the German language. Additional one-to-one tuition mixed with group classes allows you to make the most of the course and ensures maximum progress.

During the course, you will talk about lifestyle, leisure, and friendship. You get to read dialogues and texts and work with word knowledge. We practice natural pronunciation. In grammar, we work with, among other things, word order, adverb, adjective, and noun bending and reflexive verbs. You will learn how to write different types of texts.

Our schools offer a comprehensive student support service along with and all lessons being made up of a wide range of activities helping you to become a confident communicator. Our team of teachers give you all the support you need throughout your course and use a wide range of materials in their lessons to help you develop all aspects of your English language. This is a structured course that suits all levels and is an ideal way to develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Please note: Entry Level CEFR A1-C2 (Elementary to Advanced). Our intensive English programme is our general English course plus three hours of private classes. The intensive English programme is a great way to get the individual attention you need to deal with ingrained errors. Private classes are also a great way to learn and practice the specialised vocabulary and/or skills you need for your job.

If you’re hoping to develop your language skills in a short amount of time, our Platinum Courses are the ideal option for you. They are designed for busy professionals, executives and mature learners who hope to improve quickly. You can choose to study in specialised one-to-one sessions, where the lessons are tailor-made to meet your specific personal needs. It’s entirely up to you how many of these lessons you have per week and the teacher can, if you choose, focus on your specialised professional area. Alternatively, you can opt for small group sessions where classes will have a maximum of five students. Your lessons will take place in one of our dedicated Platinum Centres, which have comfortable modern classrooms and a Platinum Clubhouse for you to enjoy outside of class. On a Platinum course, you will have the opportunity to meet and network with other professionals from all over the world.
