General English Language Afternoon Courses at Lexis English offer students the flexibility of combining their English language education with a large range of options classes – personalising each student’s course to suit their academic needs. For students wanting to brush up their English skills for travelling, employment or to work towards a placement in one of our academic programs or Certificate or Diploma courses, our General English course is designed to get results. We understand that every english student comes to Australia with unique goals, plans and learning needs. Lexis 360° is our student care program designed to ensure that all Lexis students receive individual support and attention, initiating the most successful study experience possible. General English Full-Time is CRICOS registered and consists of a minimum of 20 hours per week with an additional 5 hours per week of Guided Individual Learning (GIL).

Improve all areas of your general English with our English 15 language course. You will focus on English for real-life situations using speaking, reading, writing and listening. Your class will have students at the same English level as you and the teacher will base lessons around the needs of the group. Group work will be balanced with individual support and encouragement from your teacher. This course runs in the afternoons!

A 30-lesson per week Spanish Language course especially recommended for short period stays. You will leave feeling more confident, with improved overall communications skills, fluency in Spanish, and complete independence. Optimised time and results with 4 morning (in groups of 5-10) and 2 afternoon lessons (in groups of maximum 5 to 8 students). If only 1 or 2 students enrol for a certain level, the lessons from 13:30 – 15:10 will be adjusted to 5 private or semi-private lessons per week.

Studying the Intensive version of the General English language course at ACET will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from a beginner to fluency at a faster pace. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

When you book an inlingua package, we take care of all the details of your course. This package includes: 16 weeks General English 20 lessons + 12 weeks General English 30 lessons + 4 weeks Business 20 lessons or IELTS 30 lessons + Airport Transfers +  Registration + 1 Course book.

Swedish B1 part 2 is for those who understand most of a conversation but have difficulty understanding if you are not familiar with the subject. In this course, you will learn to become more confident in everyday situations and have more complex conversations. You will learn to explain your opinions and tell about your dreams and hopes.

In the course, you will learn to greet, introduce yourself, talk about yourself (family, leisure, studies, work, etc.) and make purchases. We practice very natural pronunciation. You can read simple dialogues and shorter texts and practice understanding spoken Swedish. You learn the grammatical basics, such as word order, tempus, noun and adjective inflections, pronouns and prepositions. Click on the link below for a more detailed description of the content.

Our Semi-Intensive English course is a semi-intensive programme that allows you to balance classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. You will improve your English language ability at a speed you feel comfortable with, while having time to enjoy your destination.This course is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced and you will be placed in a class which is suitable for your level. The course focuses on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also learn vocabulary and grammar, and how to speak in formal and informal discussions and strategies.

This General English language course has 10 lessons per week. 1 lesson: 50 minutes; 15 Students maximum per class; Course length: 1-11 weeks; Hours per week: 8 hours 20 minutes; Ages 16+. This course is suitable for students who wish to improve their fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation in a language. There is an emphasis on language for everyday situations and classes may involve discussing topics such as film and theatre, current events, politics, local culture and the internet.
