This programme runs for a minimum of 8 weeks and is ideal for students who want to develop fluency in English similar to that of a native speaker. Students will be evaluated by our Director of Studies on their first day of school to determine the course of study, and their progress will be continually monitored throughout their stay. During their interview, students will be asked what their purpose for study is so that our trainers can work towards this aim by helping them to achieve their goal.

The Intensive General English Course is suitable for students who want to maximise on work carried out in the Standard Course. This course takes place all year round. Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course from Monday to Friday (09.30 -13.00). There are also three afternoon lessons a week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (14.00 -16.30 in the UK) which are focused on improving the students’ speaking skills and ability to communicate through English. In the afternoon lessons, students have the opportunity to improve their communicative proficiency through discussions, topical debates, authentic materials and use of portable and static technology. Course content is partly negotiated and partly based on TED lectures.

An Intensive Language Course at Sprachcaffe / Languages PLUS in English is the ideal choice for a more in-depth focus on the language. Whether you are a complete beginner or simply wish to brush up on your languages, this course will be of real benefit in helping you to achieve your language goals. With the Intensive Course, more emphasis is placed on learning, thus leaving less free time for extra curricular activities. Six daily lessons help you to make effective progress in a much shorter time.Intensive Course structure The six lessons that you will have each day are as follows:* 2 lessons - grammar and general vocabulary exercises* 2 lessons - conversation* 2 lessons - reading, understanding texts, listening, writing. The course structure may vary depending on the individual teachers and students. The topics may refer to current articles from local newspapers and magazines. They provide excellent value for money and a flexible approach to your studies. You can choose from any of our standard or intensive course provided you meet the entry requirements. This DILIT's General Italian course will give you an understanding of the Italian language and take you all the way from a beginner to advanced. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

This General English language course has 20 Lessons per week (4 lessons per day); 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 16 hours 40 minutes; 15 students max. per class: Age 16+. During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines. This is the perfect choice if you want to learn English in Malta, combining your language course with a relaxing, fun-filled holiday.
