This programme allows Non-EU students to progress through at least two levels over an 8-month period and gain a professional, internationally-recognised English qualification. Students on this programme can work 20 hours per week during the 6-month study period, and 40 hours per week during the 2 month holiday.
Award
All students who successfully complete the programme receive the ISI Certificate in English. Non-EU students must complete an official examination at the end
of the programme such as Trinity ISE, FCE, CAE and IELTS.
Entry requirements
Students should be at least 18 years old on the course start date.
Students on Academic Year Academic Year 15 (AY15) programmes are integrated with the General English classes. This creates an international mix of students, each doing courses of different durations. With a full 25-week programme, Academic Year students can expect to progress through at
least two levels during their course before completing their final exit examination. Our morning classes offer a greater international mix of students, while the
discounted afternoon classes tend to have fewer nationalities.

The General English Program (GEP) teaches English communicatively. Students learn through interaction in English, and by performing action-oriented tasks. Their improvement is tracked weekly, so each student can progress at their own rate, from beginner to advanced! Just decide how long you would like to study English, as well as how many English lessons you would like to take a week — 16, 20 or 25 lessons, and we will take care of the rest! Schedule: Monday To Friday, 8:30 – 12:00 OR 13:20 – 17:00, schedule will be determined by the class levels.

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing. This course has 25 hours of English classes per week.

The course consists of the 20 morning classes plus 20 afternoon specialised elective lessons per week, allowing students to maximise their study day and develop a wide variety of skills. Our General English Super Intensive course covers the key language learning areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening, using one-to-one tutorials and regular progress tests to respond to the student’s individual learning needs.

Semi-private lessons will allow students to learn at their own speed and study the content of their choice. Hours are variable and dependent on teacher/classroom availability.• Students seeking a direct, one-on-one attention.• Students wishing to study a particular subject or aspect of the English language at their own pace.• Additional support after a group class.•  Price shown is one lesson per day. Number of lesson per day is flexible so please inquire with school.• $55 per lesson per person (one lesson is 50 minutes). Our most popular General English course consists of 20 lessons of General English Fluency group classes per week. The classes focus on improving your accuracy, fluency and confidence in English. With a focus on real-life grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation you will be better able to communicate successfully with people from all over the world.

Our Bespoke English Language programs identify and target individual student needs and prepare them to confidently use English for general communication in a wide range of situations, including travel, work and social interaction. Students are taught essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening skills through interesting topics such as: Countries and Cultures Ambitions and Dreams Leisure and Lifestyle Memory Future Society

Our General English language course is our flagship course. This programme combines our General English tuition with a unique curriculum designed to develop your 21st Century Skills and prepare you for career success. The course develops the confidence and skills you need to express yourself powerfully and is ideal if you wish to enter the workforce or advance your career at home or abroad. General English is the centre of our teaching at British Study Centres and will improve your English communication skills in an engaging, interactive way. Using materials from National Geographic Learning and a coursebook that has been specifically designed for BSC, learn new vocabulary, understand English grammar and get support in the areas you need it the most. *Note: 20 lessons = 15 hrs

Our General English course aims to improve your ability to use English by developing your core language skills – speaking, listening, writing and reading. We aim to help increase your overall general knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary, developing your skills for international communication. This course has 25 hours of classes each week.
