A Bayswater Eurocentres General English course uses market-leading course materials to provide you with engaging, interactive lessons. Your teacher will make use of a variety of resources, including well-known coursebooks and online study platforms, to deliver a consistent and structured learning experience. This course will prepare you for using English in real-life situations outside of the classroom, and aims to improve your daily communication skills by introducing a range of interesting and relevant topics with each new unit. This intensive course is made up of 30 lessons per week/22.5 hours per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want to study full-time i.e. Monday – Friday (Morning & Afternoon classes)

You have the opportunity to customize your course with specific skills lessons, including business English and exam preparation.The course allows you to quickly achieve English fluency and learn grammar and vocabulary that will be useful in every day English. You can study for as long as you need to, and by doing so will improve your opportunities in future academic and professional endeavours.

This General English Intensive language course consists on 20 lessons of the Core Program, where you will study the most important aspects of learning English, including vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, which will help you improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing. And, apart from that, you can choose 4 more lessons between options like exam preparation, skills, specialized English...

The intensive English language courses that we develop at CCEB last 5 hours a day where students work 4 hours with our teachers and 1 hour of self-study or activities like Yoga, conversation, cooking, etc. For developing skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar. There are levels from beginner to advanced.

The Combination Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday (09.30-13.00 in the UK and 09.00-13.00 in Ireland). Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. All morning courses are based on our CES Curriculum Framework Document which has common CEF learning objectives for each level. In addition, each course is supported by a published EFL course book and its syllabus. Teachers complement this syllabus. A combination course is 20 hours in the morning and 5 hours of one to one lessons.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

The Combination Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday (09.30-13.00 in the UK). Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. All morning courses are based on our CES Curriculum Framework Document which has common CEF learning objectives for each level. In addition each course is supported by published an EFL course book and its syllabus. Teachers complement this syllabus. Course books are sold at the schools at shop prices and students must buy one on their first day. Second hand books may also be available.Levels available: Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2),  Intermediate (B1), Upper Intermediate (B2) Advanced (C1). There are two afternoons a week of one-to-one lessons, designed to meet the individual requirements of each student. Prior to the first one-to-one session, students complete a Needs Analysis which helps the teacher to plan the one-to-one lessons according to the student’s specific needs. Teachers then work closely with the student to ensure these needs are being met. All students receive a final report detailing their progress and outlining future areas for attention. The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. A combination course is 26.6 lessons (20 hours) per week.15 hours General English in the mornings and 5 hours one-to-one lessons in the afternoons in the UK and in Ireland 20 hours in the morning and 5 hours one to one lessons.

Evening classes are ideal for students who want to maintain their English without committing to a full-time course. We provide a welcoming environment to make learning in the evening a pleasure. Regular organised get-togethers with LILA’s international and English speaking students enable you to activate your newly acquired language skills.

Our General English courses are designed to improve your English language skills and give you more professional and academic options in the future. As well as taking lessons, you will have plenty of time to sight-see and explore your destination. The course is semi-intensive, and is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced, with classes made up of different levels. The focus is on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and all our schools offer extensive and varied activities programs to help you make the most of your destination.
