The General English language course offers students the perfect balance between language training and leisure time. A communicative approach developing fluency in speaking, listening, reading and writing ensures that the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation components are applied to actual language use. Our teachers assess their students' learning needs and objectives on the first day, and then plan their lessons accordingly. In this way, our students are motivated to keep improving, while also having a good time!

This General English language course has 92 individual lessons. Beginner to advanced levels. 9 consecutive days; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 68 hours 20 minutes. Courses begin: every Saturday, Includes lunchtime lessons with teacher; Ages: 16 +. This course is perfect for those with exacting needs which must be met in a short space of time. Requiring just one week away from the office, this course is ideal for busy professionals and executives who need to prepare for presentation and meetings abroad.

During the course, we will practice using Finnish in day-to-day situations in a multitude of ways. You will also work on many home assignments. No previous knowledge of the Finnish language is required.

The semi-intensive course includes the full core class with Language Development and English Skills, with the addition of three electives per week. This will allow exploration of an extensive range of elective options as well as building on a solid foundation of the language. Our General English Semi-Intensive course covers the key language learning areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening, using one-to-one tutorials and regular progress tests to respond to the student’s individual learning needs. These electives are: confident communication, pronunciation, English for journalism, exam skills... among many others.

The Standard French Language course consists of 20 lessons per week of group instruction. Teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic documents and listening comprehension. Note that during the summer high season, some Intensive and Standard courses are only available in the afternoon. This course is the standard variant of France Langue's weekly courses. This option is perfect for those willing to start learning the French language or improve and perfect their level while enjoying enough free time to take advantage of their stay in France. This course starts every Monday and accepts any student with any level of the french language. However, complete beginners must start on the first Monday of the month. The standard 20-lesson program (at school) is made of:12 lessons of General French classes + 4 lessons of academic project + 2 lessons of Linguistic Reinforcement + 2 lessons of weekly “Meet the locals” session.

On an ES General English Language Course, you’ll develop your language and communication skills, improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking whilst studying a range of topics, depending on your ability. You will also learn new grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Our fulltime courses consist of 15 lessons per week for semi-intensive English classes. The applicable schedule for semi-intensive courses are as follows: 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. or from 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. depending on the level of the student and the availability of classes. The schedule will be assigned to the student upon arrival in Dubai.
