This General English language course has 20 Lessons per week (4 lessons per day); 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 16 hours 40 minutes; 15 students max. per class: Age 16+. During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines. This English language course prepares students with the skills and strategies they need to make the transition to college and university courses in the English language and other secondary school disciplines. Students are encouraged to develop independence in a range of academic tasks. They will participate in seminars, lead classroom workshops; read and interpret a range of academic texts; take effective notes during lectures and class discussions; write essays, narratives, and reports; and apply a range of learning strategies and research skills effectively.

In this course, we communicate on a wide level and you will get to practice for all the aspects of the YKI-test (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). You will learn to discuss different themes on an abstract level, both in writing and in speech. The course also has a lot of home assignments. This is an excellent course if you want to integrate into Finnish society and get work or a place to study after Lärkkulla

Study General English three times a week. (Three times per week =3hr per day). This option is great for someone who has a more flexible schedule and wants to study in between shifts. Maybe you work in a bar or restaurant and want to fit your studies around your job. If that person is you, then three classes a week is a great combination. Your teacher will set you homework and extra reading so that don’t miss out. And of course, they will be happy to review any topic with you that you worked on at home.

The Intensive 30 Spanish language course increases your classroom time by offering 6 group lessons per day from Monday to Friday. It is just like taking 20 lessons per week but has 2 extra small-group lessons every day. These extra-group Spanish lessons are generally taught in even smaller groups and focus on conversation, improving fluency and communication. As the extra lessons are focused mainly on conversation, the Intensive 30 requires you to start with a lower elementary level of Spanish.

The Super-Intensive Eduinter french course is a 27.5-hour per week language course (30 hours per week during the summer session) that follows international standards and focuses on developing reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension in french for students of all levels and abilities. The content of this course will help you prepare for recognized exams such as the DELF, DALF, TCF and TFI. Spend your mornings taking comprehensive french classes, and in the afternoon, develop your oral fluency through conversation workshops discussing themes related to culture, current events, literature, cinema or music. The additional semiprivate classes are a very effective complement to the program for students who need immediate results in a short period of time.
