In BLI Montreal enhance your knowledge of specific french language skills through project development and task-based learning. Spend up to a year abroad, achieve a high level of fluency in your chosen language and make new friends from all over the world. ATA and AYA programmes differ from shorter courses at LSI because students receive a greater level of academic support and management, including two additional weekly sessions with a teacher. An individual study plan is designed for you to suit your level, individual aims and the duration of your course. We continue to check your progress with regular meetings to make sure you achieve your aims. Duration: 24-48 weeks.

Within the Intensive English course, students follow the General English Course and have a further 2 sessions per day of 45 minutes each. They are given the opportunity to consolidate their General English studies and have further options to cover new ground. This Long Stay Course has to be a minimum of 8 weeks long.

The Intensive General English Course is suitable for students who want to maximize on work carried out in the Standard Course. All morning courses are based on our CES Curriculum Framework Document which has common CEF learning objectives for each level. In addition, each course is supported by a published EFL course book and its syllabus. Teachers complement this syllabus. Students will work on improving the English language skills involved with speaking, listening, reading, and writing so that they can improve their comprehension and communicate more freely. This course also has extra lessons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as a way to improve faster your learning curve.

The Combination Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday (09.30-13.00 in the UK and 09.00-13.00 in Ireland). Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. All morning courses are based on our CES Curriculum Framework Document which has common CEF learning objectives for each level. In addition, each course is supported by a published EFL course book and its syllabus. Teachers complement this syllabus. A combination course is 20 hours in the morning and 5 hours of one to one lessons.

Aim of the course To learn basic Swedish for everyday situations, for example greeting someone, ordering something, giving and asking for simple information.
