The standard Beginners English Language Course will help you develop your basic English language skills and to build your confidence when communicating in English. You will study every morning, and on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons are free for self study, for you to join our social activities or explore London. On this course, you will: - Learn the basic structures in English - Focus on building your vocabulary - Practise the language learned by doing pair work and role-plays - Develop your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills

St Giles London Highgate offers the International Semester language Course to students wishing to experience British life and study General English for 6 months or longer. Additional modules also available at St Giles London Highgate are: Cambridge English or IELTS exam preparation, English for Business, English for Art & Design and English for University Studies.

On the Intensive courses, you will: - Learn ‘real’ English using the latest course books and materials. - Learn, review and put into practice new language every day. - Be able to develop your communication skills by working with other students doing activities such as role-plays, pair work and group discussions. - Explore new techniques to help you improve your listening and reading. - Practise and improve your writing skills by analysing and producing documents such as emails, formal and informal letters and reports. - Have regular tutorials with your teacher to discuss your progress. - Get up to 2 hours of homework each evening.
