Your teacher will make use of a variety of resources, including well-known coursebooks and online study platforms, to deliver a consistent and structured learning experience. This course will prepare you for using English in real-life situations outside of the classroom, and aims to improve your daily communication skills by introducing a range of interesting and relevant topics with each new unit. This semi-intensive course is made up of 25 lessons per week/18.7 hours per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want a combination of morning and mid-day classes.

General Language English classes are an opportunity for you to improve not only your speaking skills, but also to practise reading, writing, and listening. Each lesson consists of a mix of grammar, vocabulary, and communicative activities to keep the class lively and interesting. This intensive language course combines the General English course plus our range of modules, soyou get to personalise your course totally to fit your needs.

CLLC’s Semi Intensive Program gives students flexibility to study 15 hours per week (20 lessons/ week) of quality English language instruction. Students can choose from Reading & Writing, Listening & Speaking, IELTS Preparation or Business English as their primary class while studying the Semi Intensive Program.

St Giles Vancouver offers the International Semester Course to students wishing to experience Canadian life and study General English for 6 months or longer. Additional modules also available at St Giles Vancouver are: Cambridge English, IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC exam preparation, and English for Business.

This General English language course is made up of 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week including the General English classes. It also allows you to personalise your course by taking 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options.
