The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is recognised worldwide and evaluates the English language proficiency of people who want to study or work in English speaking countries or environments such as university or in the workplace. Our IELTS Exam Preparation course is part time at 6 hours per week. You will encounter a wide range of strategies to give you the best possible opportunity to achieve your desired grade. You will focus on academic reading and writing, whilst also honing your speaking and listening skills. The class covers all modules of the IELTS exam and students will also get the chance to see past exam papers.

Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

Our English Teaching Methodology course is designed for non-native teachers of English who want to improve or refresh their skills. The course covers a broad range of EFL topics and the most recent developments in English language teaching. Topics typically include: Methods and Approaches Motivation Functions and Meaning Materials Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening Teaching Roles Grammar Lexis Checking Understanding Phonology Computers in EFL Teaching Beginners Learner Strategies Personal Development. English Teaching Methodology is available to Groups only. A teaching qualification is required to enrol on this course.

A Business Intensive Course will help you understand the world of business and get the language skills needed in a globalized market. You will explore different aspects of business communication and understand key areas of modern business practices.

Our General English and IELTS course is a 21 hour per week, intensive full time course. It is a combination of General English and IELTS Exam Preparation. General English will aim to give you the confidence in communicating in an English speaking environment and you’ll focus on the skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing whilst covering essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, phrases, and formal and informal language. The IELTS part of the course will focus on academic reading and writing whilst also honing your speaking and listening skills. The class covers all modules of the IELTS exam and students will also get the chance to see a past exam paper. You will encounter a wide range of strategies to give you the best possible opportunity to achieve your desired grade.Note: Timetable depends on your level of English and the availability. Cambridge CELTA is an internationally recognised, externally accredited EFL qualification and your first reliable step to teaching anywhere in the world.
