ATA and AYA programmes differ from shorter courses at LSI because students receive a greater level of academic support and management, including two additional weekly sessions with a teacher. An individual study plan is designed for you to suit your level, individual aims and the duration of your course. We continue to check your progress with regular meetings to make sure you achieve your aims.*

With this course, students benefit from group classes in the General English Course and individual lessons when the teacher’s undivided attention is focused on their specific needs. Students choose a number of consecutive sessions of study per day. General English 20 L/W + 5 individual lessons.

This English Language Course provides students 20 hour per week English development programme in the mornings or in the afternoons. The curriculum is structured to provide development in the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing and the different language areas of grammar, vocabulary and functional English. All classes are organised to respond directly to individual students’ needs. The focus is on real-world English, taught with a practical, communicative approach supplemented with activities from real life environments and contexts. There are two time slots to develop this course depending on your English level: From 8:00 to 12:00 or 12:30 to 16:30.

Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials. Each week you will receive: − 20 English lessons (15 hours) − 8 Specific Skills lessons (6 hours) − 7 Sessions of K+ (5.25 hours) ⦿ Total: 21 hours per week + 5.25 hours of K+

This course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. With this English language course, you get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week of General English including four lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study. With this programme, you will develop fluency, accuracy and appropriate uses of English across all four language skills. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course. Taking the time to seriously focus on your English will open up unlimited opportunities for you. This programme is for students who study for 24 weeks or more.

During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines.25 Lessons per week; 2 days (6.5 lessons), 3 days (4 lessons).

This intensive General English language course is made up of 30 lessons per week/22.5 hours per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want to study full-time i.e. Monday – Friday (Morning & Afternoon classes)

This General English language course has 24 L/W = 20 hours per week. 2 days of the week there will be 6 lessons, and the other 3 there will be 4 lessons. During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations.

The 50+ Course enables students to practise their English, explore the region, meet new people and make new friends. The course includes language development and an inclusive social programme. Our aim is to help students enjoy learning and using English. We also help them to discover our beautiful region. In the mornings, for 20 lessons (15 hours) per week, you will study English in a multi-national 50+ class at your level. In the afternoons and weekends you will join the dedicated 50+ social programme. You'll need to choose the duration of the course, between 2 and 4 weeks.
