English Courses

We offer General English language courses for all levels, from beginner to proficiency. We also offer timetables that give you the flexibility to choose a course that best suits your needs from 1-36+ weeks. We believe that you will learn faster and more effectively if your lessons are engaging, fun and relevant, that’s why our teachers use a range of techniques and develop classes that are motivating and build your confidence. This will allow time to focus on any areas of weakness. Any weekly programme is influenced not only by the course book syllabus but also by the learning goals and interests of the students in any one group.

The aim of this English language course is to help you improve your English language skills, make progress and achieve your goals. Learning English in an English-speaking country is ideal because it allows you to perfect your English language skills quickly and easily with practice both inside and outside the classroom. This 20 English lessons per week offer greater flexibility – you can study at home for part of the day, spend time exploring the city, or even combine it with private one-to-one lessons for a more intensive and personal experience. This course runs in the afternoons!!!

This General English language course has 20 lessons per week, so 15 hours per week. This is the perfect choice if you want to learn English in Malta, combining your language course with a relaxing, fun-filled holiday. In your lessons, you will learn conversational skills, grammar structures and vocabulary, which will enable you to communicate effectively in a variety of social situations using the English language.

Our English Academic Year courses are nine month English courses that aim to take you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Year course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language, and spend a year studying and getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially designed study materials.

ILSC offers a wide range of courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule. Most courses are offered at many different levels and last four weeks.

This Package includes a 32 week Course, fees and accommodation in Sliema Residence. Sharing Triple room only. A typical self-catering shared student apartment in the heart of Sliema just 5 minutes walk away from the school. All the modern amenities students require in order to have a comfortable stay are included! The property boasts an excellent location and it is an ideal place for students staying for 8 weeks or more. Students will share a bedroom and bathroom with a max of 3 students in a shared apartment which includes a fully equipped communal kitchen, comfortable dining area and lounge, laundry facilities, free WIFI and water and electricity as well as regular room cleaning and linen change.

Our General English language courses are suitable for anyone, from beginner to advanced level. If you want to improve your English for academic, personal or professional use, whatever your reasons, we have a course for you. Choose the intensity of study to suit your needs. Make the most of your learning on our Full Immersion language course. Study all the elements of our General English courses at a much higher intensity. This is a great course if you have a high target to reach in a short period of time.

This course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. With this English language course, you get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week of General English including four lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Our General English courses are designed to improve your English language skills and give you more professional and academic options in the future. As well as taking lessons, you will have plenty of time to sight-see and explore your destination.The course is semi-intensive, and is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced, with classes made up of different levels. The focus is on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and all our schools offer extensive and varied activities programs to help you make the most of your destination.
