In this program BWS Germanlingua combines a German course with vocational training in Germany. You can choose from various professions, such as baker’s craft, horticulture, nursing care, and many more. German vocational training is a well-respected professional education that consists of theoretical and practical training in the chosen profession. The student will complete the vocational training in a German company plus the German language lessons.

English for Academic Purposes courses provide language instruction for students who wish to study at a university where English is the language of instruction. Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development for University levels.

France Langue offers academic and administrative support along with university guidance for international students wishing to apply to a French University or a French Higher Education Institution. Eveything is taken care of before the students departure and on arrival in France : visa application - university registration - help to settle in France. The objective of this programme is to make you join a university or a Grande Ecole (prestigious  French school) in the best conditions and give you all the keys to succeed in your French university.French classes take place in our schools based on 20 lessons per week. The objective is to improve your French level and to reach the required level to enter university (B2 / C1 confirmed according to the chosen university course).The 12 months programme (48 weeks + 2 weeks break) includes:- 6 months: 12 lessons of general French face-to-face + 6 lessons (themed workshop) online + 2 lessons (virtual guided tour) online- 6 months: 12 lessons of general French face-to-face + 6 lessons (university preparation wokshops) online + 2 lessons (virtual guided tour) online

We believe that all learners choose to study English for a purpose and our courses are designed with a sense of that purpose; personal, social, professional and academic. We also emphasise the importance of learner autonomy, and our courses invite the learner to take responsibility for their progress, help them to develop their learning skills and the ability to develop themselves.Our adult course is divided into three stages according to English language level. At each stage the exit criteria are those specified in the relevant Integrated Skills Exam (ISE) for ILEP purposes by Trinity College London.All of our courses are project-based which means the students will learn English while working together and making use of technology as a basic tool of communication and a support for language learning. Our course has 15 hours of project-based tuition per week (morning or afternoon).STAGE 1: LIFE SKILLS THROUGH ENGLISH – LEVELS A2 TO B1The initial stage of our course is designed to help people to make a life in Dublin through English and deal successfully with all the situations that will arise at work, at home and socially. It aims to help develop communication skills that consider the cultural as well as the linguistic challenges to successful communication in English.STAGE 2: PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION – LEVELS B1 TO B2The second stage is designed for professionals who are interested in developing their spoken and written communication skills in an international and technology enhanced environment. The aim is to equip participants to communicate effectively in English in order to be able to progress professionally. Dublin is a hub for international technology companies who employ multinational teams to service European markets in the first language. The language of coordination and management in these companies is always English. however, and in order to progress in your career you need to be able to present yourself well and communicate effectively in that language. Effective communication is about more than just the language, it is about engagement with the culture of the company in an appropriate way.STAGE 3: FOUNDATION FOR STUDY THROUGH ENGLISH – LEVELS B2 TO C1The third stage is designed to equip people to make a success of studying in an English speaking country. The aim is to equip participants to communicate effectively in English in order to be able to progress academically. Effective communication is about more than just the language, it is about engaging with the educational culture in an appropriate way. It aims to help develop communication skills that consider the cultural as well as the linguistic challenges to successful studying in an English-speaking institution.

The Academic Year (Study and Work) programme is suitable for students outside of the EU who are interested in a long term language stay in Ireland. Students from outside of the EU will need to be registered on a specific course called an Academic Year Programme (often called Study and Work Programme). Cork English Academy Academic Year Programmes are in line with Immigration guidelines for international students.This Programme allows international students stay in Ireland for 8 months and must include at minimum of: -  25 week course-  15 hour course per week -  An official English language exam ( TIE, IELTS and FCE exam must be chosen at time of booking). Please consider this information before booking an Academic Year as we will need to know your final exam choice at time of booking and before you start your course. No changes to courses or final exam choice can be made after you start your course. An Academic Year Programme can be renewed for a maximum of 2 times allowing international students stay in Ireland for a total of 3 x 8 month periods (24 months/2 years) subject to Immigration permission. COURSE25 Weeks General English leading to TIE exam. The daily General English lessons covers all of the English language skills – speaking, listening, reading and writing with an emphasis on speaking and listening. The main focus of the General English courses is on communication skills in real life settings.RIGHT TO WORKNon-EEA students who are permitted to reside in the State on a stamp 2 immigration permission are allowed to avail of a work concession.  Under this concession a student may work in Ireland  in a casual part-time capacity without a work permit.Students holding a valid  immigration stamp 2  permission will be permitted work 40 hours per week only during the months of June, July, August and September and from 15 December to 15 January inclusive.  At all other times students holding Immigration permission Stamp 2 will be limited to working 20 hours per week. AWARDS All students who successfully complete the programme receive the Cork English Academy Certificate in English. Non-EU students must also complete an official examination at the end of the programme ( in this case TIE). REQUIREMENTS Students should be from a non-EU country, age 18 + with at least a basic knowledge of English (A1 level). Students are required to have an attendance of at least 85% throughout their course and to sit an official exam during their programme.

Studying a General French course will give you an understanding of the French language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

BWS Germanlingua will guide you in your journey to study German and enter the university. This course focuses on teaching German and consultation to get into the pre-university (Studienkolleg) or university. Besides the german classes, BWS Germanlingua will assist you with all the documentation needed for the academics and stay in Germany while you are studying.
