Our Semi-Intensive English course is a semi-intensive programme that allows you to balance classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. You will improve your English language ability at a speed you feel comfortable with, while having time to enjoy your destination. This course is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced and you will be placed in a class which is suitable for your level. The course focuses on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also learn vocabulary and grammar, and how to speak in formal and informal discussions and strategies.

You will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains and competencies appropriate to your level of ability with additional work on fluency and pronunciation. Objectives: This programme of study is intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context. You will improve their language skills and consider factors affecting inter-cultural communication with special emphasis on fluent spoken English and pronunciation, giving you the opportunity to establish relationships and share points of view with international colleagues.

Our General English courses focus on the four core language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing to help you to use the English language more effectively. This course also focuses on clear, easily-understood pronunciation and on developing interpersonal skills which showcase your own unique personality.What skills will you gain?The Real English course is a 3-level program offered at Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels. Each level takes 12 weeks to complete. Students are given end of term tests every four weeks.Intermediate - Become familiar with fast-paced conversation skills and practical vocabulary through role play.Upper Intermediate - Build a strong foundation in public speaking, presentation skills, and formal/ informal vocabulary.Advanced - Near native level of fluency through advanced level of presentation, debate and group discussion.

The Intensive General English Course is suitable for students who want to maximize on work carried out in the Standard Course. All morning courses are based on our CES Curriculum Framework Document which has common CEF learning objectives for each level. In addition, each course is supported by a published EFL course book and its syllabus. Teachers complement this syllabus. Students will work on improving the English language skills involved with speaking, listening, reading, and writing so that they can improve their comprehension and communicate more freely. This course also has extra lessons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as a way to improve faster your learning curve.

General English Language courses at Lexis English offer students the flexibility of combining their English language education with a large range of options classes – personalising each student’s course to suit their academic needs. For students wanting to brush up their English skills for travelling, employment or to work towards a placement in one of our academic programs or Certificate or Diploma courses, our General English course is designed to get results. We understand that every english student comes to Australia with unique goals, plans and learning needs. Lexis 360° is our student care program designed to ensure that all Lexis students receive individual support and attention, initiating the most successful study experience possible. General English Full-Time is CRICOS registered and consists of a minimum of 20 hours per week with an additional 5 hours per week of Guided Individual Learning (GIL).

On an ES General English Language Course, you’ll develop your language and communication skills, improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking whilst studying a range of topics, depending on your ability. You will also learn new grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Our fulltime courses consist of 30 lessons per week for intensive classes. The applicable hours for intensive courses are as follows: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. depending on the level of the student and the availability of classes. Schedule will be assigned to the student upon arrival in Dubai.

The Did Deutsch Institut German courses are intended for students who want to make rapid progress in improving their German language competence. Students will learn in an intensive, practice-oriented environment with other international students and then be able to use the German language to work, study or travel in Germany.

This course is made up of 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week including the General English classes. It also allows you to personalise your course by taking 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options.

With the Intensive Spanish Course at Linguaschools Barcelona, the students will be using a communicative methodology, this Spanish course provides rapid improvement while immersing you in the Spanish language. The objective of this course is for you to be able to communicate and take your Spanish into real-world situations.
