At CA Institute Brno, our General Czech language courses are available all year round, and courses start any Monday, so a student can sign up at any time in the year and there will be always a course available. This "Intensive Course 25 lessons per week", is designed for people who desire to master their skills in the Czech language at a fast pace.

The Standard General English Course takes place all year round. Lessons are held every morning, from Monday to Friday (09.30 – 13.00 in the UK). Students will work on improving the skills involved with speaking, listening, reading and writing, so that they can improve their comprehension and communicate more freely. They will work on their linguistic knowledge, increasing their vocabulary and deepening their understanding of the grammar and structure of the language. Courses at CES are communicative and task-based, using the most up to date technology and authentic materials. Students are then free in the afternoons to join our exciting social programme, use the self-access facilities, or to explore the rich history and culture of Ireland and the UK.

Our Semi-Intensive English course is a semi-intensive programme that allows you to balance classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. You will improve your English language ability at a speed you feel comfortable with, while having time to enjoy your destination. This course is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced and you will be placed in a class which is suitable for your level. The course focuses on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also learn vocabulary and grammar, and how to speak in formal and informal discussions and strategies.

You gain basic knowledge of Swedish so that you can be understood and understand others in simple everyday situations. The course is fast-paced and suitable for those who want to learn Swedish quickly. Swedish A1 is for beginners who do not know any Swedish.

General English Language Afternoon courses at Lexis English offer students the flexibility of combining their English language education with a large range of options classes – personalising each student’s course to suit their academic needs. For students wanting to brush up their English skills for travelling, employment or to work towards a placement in one of our academic programs or Certificate or Diploma courses, our General English course is designed to get results. We understand that every english student comes to Australia with unique goals, plans and learning needs. Lexis 360° is our student care program designed to ensure that all Lexis students receive individual support and attention, initiating the most successful study experience possible. General English Part-Time is CRICOS registered and consists of a minimum of 15 hours per week.

This General English language course is made up of 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week including the General English classes. It also allows you to personalise your course by taking 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options.

During the course, you will learn to greet, introduce yourself, talk about family, leisure, studies, work, etc. and make purchases. We practice very natural pronunciation. You can read simple dialogues and shorter texts and practice understanding spoken Swedish.

The General English course at ELC Bristol includes 21 full hours of classroom time per week plus daily homework. Your teacher will give you a coursebook that forms the basis of the General English syllabus at ELC Bristol. They also often use a wide range of materials to provide a balanced curriculum and reflect students’ needs and requests. The General English course at ELC Bristol is flexible and varied. Our teachers often change the course programme after discussion with their students. Teachers display a weekly plan to keep students informed.

The General English Course at ELC Eastbourne is designed to give you the confidence to communicate effectively in real-life situations. The course provides effective English language training for people who need English for work, further study,travel/tourism or for your own pleasure. In addition, it can help provide preparation for a number of exams including IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, KET and PET. There is a balanced programme, focusing on the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, whilst covering essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, idioms and colloquial language.

This is a course for those who have completed level Swedish A1 or otherwise gained equivalent Swedish knowledge. You can already recognize simpler phrases, tell me briefly about yourself, and communicate with someone who speaks slowly and clearly.
