In BWS Germanlingua, we prepare you to succeed in German learning, taking you from beginner to fluency. Our courses prepare you to express yourself and have a great understanding while reading and speaking. In our classes, you will get to know more about German culture. With our qualified teachers, we are committed to offering quality German lessons.

Private tuition is available at Langports. It is charged per hour with a minimum of 5 hours. During the private tuition, Langports will do a needs analysis of the student and work with them on their strengths and weaknesses. Generally private tuition is provided for a maximum 2hrs per session. 

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

This course combines 20 lessons of General English classes with additional individual lessons in the afternoons. The morning sessions give you the opportunity to learn in a group setting and practise your skills with other learners. The afternoon sessions allow you to focus in on individual strengths and areas for improvement with your teacher. Before beginning this course, you will complete a needs analysis and interview with a senior member of our academic team so that we can design an individualised programme that meets your needs and requirements.

With this English course we give you all the tools needed to achieve your academic, professional and personal learning goals. With your full commitment, we guarantee that you will progress to the next level of English in the time expected. If you do not progress within this time we will offer extra learning support and classes to help you reach your goals. Your timetable is flexible and will be tailored to your needs. You will study the morning programme from 10:30 to 13:00 Monday to Friday and and do extra classes on some afternoons (13:30 – 16:00) depending on the total number of hours you register for.

Our Intensive General English language courses have been developed over many years of teaching experience. Innovative and communicative teaching methods are used and form the basis of our teaching. Our General English Programme offers a choice of courses for everyone who needs an improved level of English for academic, social or professional reasons. This specific General English course has 30 lessons per week: 20 lessons of structured English language tuition and practice; Plus 5 lessons of language extension activities to develop your vocabulary, listening comprehension and oral fluency: Plus 5 lessons to Develop general communication skills with the English for Success Programme: - English Skills for UK Life - Speaking and Listening for Success - Writing and Reading for Success. This course has a minimum stay of 20 weeks.

This programme allows Non-EU students to progress through at least two levels over an 8-month period and gain a professional, internationally-recognised English qualification. Students on this programme can work 20 hours per week during the 6-month study period, and 40 hours per week during the 2 month holiday.
Award
All students who successfully complete the programme receive the ISI Certificate in English. Non-EU students must complete an official examination at the end
of the programme such as Trinity ISE, FCE, CAE and IELTS.
Entry requirements
Students should be at least 18 years old on the course start date.
Students on Academic Year Academic Year 15 (AY15) programmes are integrated with the General English classes. This creates an international mix of students, each doing courses of different durations. With a full 25-week programme, Academic Year students can expect to progress through at
least two levels during their course before completing their final exit examination. Our morning classes offer a greater international mix of students, while the
discounted afternoon classes tend to have fewer nationalities.

The Did Deutsch Institut German courses are intended for students who want to make rapid progress in improving their German language competence. Students will learn in an intensive, practice-oriented environment with other international students and then be able to use the German language to work, study or travel in Germany.

Mix individual and group classes to make the most of an opportunity to use your French language skills with other international students whilst devoting some more specific time to your individual needs. This course has 15 hours in the morning, in our international groups + 15 hours one-to-one lessons, adapted to the individual student and their particular needs.
