ILSC offers a wide range of courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule. Most courses are offered at many different levels and last four weeks. This course runs in the afternoons!!

The aim of this English language course is to help you improve your English language skills, make progress and achieve your goals. Learning English in an English-speaking country is ideal because it allows you to perfect your English language skills quickly and easily with practice both inside and outside the classroom. This 20 English lessons per week offer greater flexibility – you can study at home for part of the day, spend time exploring the city, or even combine it with private one-to-one lessons for a more intensive and personal experience. This General English language course is made up of 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week including the General English classes. It also allows you to personalise your course by taking 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options.

In the General English Power language course at ILAC Toronto, students will develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills as well as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and idioms. This course will help improve students' language at a faster speed since it comes with 8 extra lessons than an intensive course.

The Speaking Clinic has been created for students that have mastered the basics of grammar and vocabulary but are struggling to make the leap to oral fluency in English. Differences in pitch and rhythm and difficulties with pronunciation are often barriers to being able to explain your ideas and opinions in English. This course has been specifically designed to perfect your spoken English by concentrating on overcoming whatever is standing in the way of your being able to communicate clearly and confidently.Regular practice with role play and pronunciation error correction, and the use of recording devices to check your progress will help you in your goal to sound like a native speaker of English.You may choose to add an elective course to create an Intensive Program.

St Giles Vancouver offers the International Semester Course to students wishing to experience Canadian life and study General English for 6 months or longer. Additional modules also available at St Giles Vancouver are: Cambridge English, IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC exam preparation, and English for Business.
