Who is the course for?The Italian and Cooking course in Florence is suitable for participants who wish to enjoy the opportunity of discovering the secrets of the Italian cuisine by learning how to prepare the best recipes in friendly and professional cooking school.Course objectivesEach lesson will present a theme of Italian basic cuisine common to all regions in Italy with a special attention to Tuscan cuisine.Course contentItalian lessons take place every day in the morning at Linguaviva School, cooking classes take place in the afternoon at the Culinary Arts School according to a schedule which will be given to you at the beginning of each programme. No previous experience in gastronomy or cooking is requested. The Culinary programme is held in Italian. A basic knowledge of Italian is enough to attend this course. Each session is followed by the tasting of the dishes prepared during the lessons. At the end of the course you will receive a participation certificate.* Cooking courses  are suspended from 26th July to 21st August 202

This course consists of 20 hours of GROUP General Italian + 10 hours of private (one-to-one) lessons in the afternoon per week (2 hours per day). The private lessons give students the opportunity to concentrate on their own individual needs and interests. The group course is from 9.00 am to 1.15 pm in the morning + the private courses usually take place between 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm in the afternoon. Complete beginners MUST start the first Monday of the month (we have complete beginner classes every month)

Individual Italian courses are for those who want to learn or perfect the language in a short time, who are interested in particular issues for work or study reasons.

20 hours of general Italian courses + 10 hours of business Italian in mini group (2-3 persons or 5 private courses- if only student with same level)Why business Italian? The utility of the business language is no longer to be proved. Whereas it is for studies, work, or future career plans with the Italian language, you need to be able to express yourself correctly in context. It could be simply useful for the ones who like traveling in Italy, to such simple things as writing emails for reservations or phoning to plan an arrival or solve a problem!Course content: It is really adaptable to your needs, but here is a sample of the themes you could study:Looking for a job, commercial correspondence, telephone manners, presentations in companies, publicity, traveling, transport and shipping, problem solving, professional fairs and seminars.

Italian for Academic Purposes courses provide language instruction for students who wish to study at a university where Italian is the language of instruction. Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development for University levels.
