As well as taking lessons, you will have plenty of time to sight-see and explore your destination. The course is semi-intensive, and is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced, with classes made up of different levels. The focus is on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and all our schools offer extensive and varied activities programs to help you make the most of your destination.

Our Business Supplementary courses are designed to build your English language skills to communicate effectively in business contexts, improving your employability and job prospects in your home country. This course combines improving your general English ability with taking focused lessons on business skills. Practice workplace communication techniques in English, learn how to participate in meetings and interviews, and acquire business writing skills. You can combine English courses with specialized business lessons of your choice, or with our Practical Business Intensive service in the U. S.

The exam preparation courses are design to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.

Cambridge English offer a wide range of exams which can help you achieve your goals and increase your opportunities for work, study, and life.Our Cambridge Exam Preparation courses are full time at 15 hours per week. You will be guided through a variety of strategies to help you realise your potential in your chosen Cambridge exam. You will focus on all parts of the exam - reading, writing, listening, speaking, and use of English – as well as exam techniques and academic style. LILA*'s Cambridge Exam Preparation courses are intended to develop the necessary language skills required to pass the exam. As well as the core course material you may also have the opportunity for authentic exam practise with previous Cambridge exam papers.Note: Timetable depends on your level of English and the availability. Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

Our General English and IELTS course is a 21 hour per week, intensive full time course. It is a combination of General English and IELTS Exam Preparation. General English will aim to give you the confidence in communicating in an English speaking environment and you’ll focus on the skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing whilst covering essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, phrases, and formal and informal language. The IELTS part of the course will focus on academic reading and writing whilst also honing your speaking and listening skills. The class covers all modules of the IELTS exam and students will also get the chance to see a past exam paper.
