This process is designed to identify language skills that need to be addressed and to agree goals for your language programme. Designed to develop English language skills within a business environment; with a specific focus on the functional area of Marketing

Our Methodology and Language Development course is intended for non-native English teachers who wish to refresh their own language skills and examine different teaching methods and approaches. This course provides opportunities for teachers to discuss and share ideas with colleagues from Europe and beyond.

Intensive Combined CourseThis course offers a combination of group and individual classes and makes full use of the limited time available during a short stay. Clients study in our general international group classes in the morning and can use their individual hours of tuition to concentrate on specific areas of interest.

Intensive Plus BusinessThe Business English Course combines the Intensive Course with afternoon lessons focusing specifically on developing language skills within the context of the world of business. Topics covered include the language of meetings, negotiations and presentations, marketing, sales and advertising and techniques for telephoning and e-communication. The smaller afternoon groups facilitate interaction in realistic business settings.A minimum level of good intermediate (CEFR B2) is required for this course.

Description​General English programmes are suitable for everyone and provide a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. With a strong focus on communication skills, these courses also provide a solid foundation in the key skills required in the Trinity College London ISE Examinations as well as Cambridge examinations.The method used is task-based, which means that by the end of each level students are expected to be able to complete a certain amount of tasks through English. There is a central course book and workbook and teachers supplement these using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, menus, manuals, brochures and a range of other books.All courses incorporate the use of Digital Interactive Whiteboards, the Internet and audio-visual technology. AwardISI Certificate in English. These courses consist of 20 lessons of exam preparation each week. They are taught by experienced teachers and, in addition to improving your ability to communicate more fluently and accurately, include a focus on the best techniques to use to help you get the best result in each paper.

Our Plus courses combine 20 lessons of General English in the mornings with 6 extra lessons in the afternoons. These afternoon classes are in smaller groups with a maximum of 10 students per class. This allows the teacher to give more attention to each student and focus on the specific areas of the English language that are of interest to the class.

This programme allows Non-EU students to progress through at least two levels over an 8-month period and gain a professional, internationally-recognised English qualification. Students on this programme can work 20 hours per week during the 6-month study period, and 40 hours per week during the 2 month holiday.
Award
All students who successfully complete the programme receive the ISI Certificate in English. Non-EU students must complete an official examination at the end
of the programme such as Trinity ISE, FCE, CAE and IELTS.
Entry requirements
Students should be at least 18 years old on the course start date.
Students on Academic Year Academic Year 15 (AY15) programmes are integrated with the General English classes. This creates an international mix of students, each doing courses of different durations. With a full 25-week programme, Academic Year students can expect to progress through at
least two levels during their course before completing their final exit examination. Our morning classes offer a greater international mix of students, while the
discounted afternoon classes tend to have fewer nationalities.

Students follow the Standard Course in the mornings and have Business English lessons three afternoons per week.The Business English lessons are designed for students who wish to improve their communicative proficiency in a business environment. The lessons can be tailored to suit the needs of any particular group of students and focus primarily on the specialised language of Business English.Please note that this course only runs if we have a minimum of 8 students booked.The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. 1 lesson in the UK = 45 minutes1 lesson in Ireland = 55 minutes
