English Courses

The IELTS Preparation course is aimed at students who need to improve the key language skills needed to score as high as possible in all part of the IELTS exam. Students study 20 lessons of General English lessons (15 hours), and 8 lessons of IELTS preparation lessons (6 hours) each week. They can also combine the course with additional one-to-one lessons of IELTS preparation as required. The International English Language Testing Services (IELTS) is the most established English language assessment exam recognised world-wide by universities, governments, and professional associations. The IELTS Program is essential for students who need a satisfactory IELTS exam score whether it is for university entrance, professional accreditation or immigration purposes.

English for Academic Purposes courses provide language instruction for students who wish to study at a university where English is the language of instruction. Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development for University levels.

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who are applying for a course at a UK university or work in English-speaking countries.The course may be combined with General English classes if you take an intensive course.

TOEFL® is the most popular examination for North American English and is the most widely accepted English language test in the world. Our TOEFL® and Academic English Exam Preparation course will give you the test skills and the level of English that you need to do well on your exam. We focus on test-taking strategies and highlight the academic English skills needed for exam success. The course includes TOEFL®-focused reading, writing, listening and speaking, plus practice exam questions and online simulation tests that mirror the real TOEFL® ibT. Students unable to attend a live course could instead enrol in Kaplan’s TOEFL® Online Course.

This is why we have developed a special modular course carefully designed to improve your business communication skills.In the mornings you will study on our LSI 30 Course. In the afternoons you will study business modules, covering topics such as:  Banking and Stock Markets, Marketing and Advertising, Recruitment, Sales and Negotiating. You may choose the particular modules that are of interest to you, or follow the complete course to attain an advanced knowledge of business English.

General English courses will improve a wide range of skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar.  Our qualified teachers use communicative teaching methods to provide energetic and fun lessons. This course has 25 hours (30 lessons) / week – on average 5h per day. The lessons are 50 minutes long.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals with significant experience in a senior administrative role who are seeking to develop expertise across a wider range of business functions. The qualification is suited to individuals who possess significant theoretical business skills and knowledge and wish to consolidate and build pathways to further educational or employment opportunities.

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, and listening.

The CES Toronto General English 30 years+ course gives students the same great English communication and grammar training, but with methodology and topics specifically adapted to suit the needs and interests of students 30 years and older. The core curriculum combines targeted lessons to explain grammar and practice it in a communicative manner through dialogues and conversations relevant to the age group.
