You can join the Milestones' General English course on any Monday and you will soon find that you are better able to communicate in every-day situations and understand native speakers more easily. Milestones gives you the flexibility to study in the mornings or evenings and you can choose to study for 15 or 20 hours each week. Every Monday your teacher will work with you to plan the week's lessons. This is your opportunity to say what you want to work on and improve the specific areas you need. Our teachers don't just use a course book. They also include lots of real-world materials in the lessons.

This innovative English language course from Future Learning Athlone focuses on the development of English language skills through communication, collaboration, creative problem-solving, and digital skills. This English language course is an opportunity for participants to experience Future Learning’s high-quality teaching which promises to foster development and progression. This course runs in the mornings!!!

Students join the Standard Course in General English which allows them to practice all the language skills. The Intensive Course offers 10 additional lessons which are devoted to speaking, where students wishing to focus on improving their oral fluency can discuss and debate a wide range of topics. The aim of this course is to help students to communicate, and emphasis is placed on encouraging their fluency and confidence in using the English language. Lessons may be held in the morning or in the afternoon.

This General English language course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. You get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week of General English including four lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

The Diploma of Intensive English course allows you to immerse yourself in English for up to 48 weeks and you’ll learn, live and think like a native English speaker. You will have a personalised study plan, regular progress tutorials, and regular language level tests. The course combines 20 general English lessons (15 hours) with 8 Special Interest Group (SIG) lessons per week (6 hours). In the general English lessons, students will focus on improving their English language skills across the 4 key skill areas at a consistent rate — reading, writing, listening and speaking.In the Special Interest Group lessons, students can choose from a number of different options based on their own interests and language learning goals. Example options include — Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge); Business English; Group Discussion; Art and Design; Speech and Pronunciation; Academic Writing Skills; etc. The Diploma of Intensive English course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

CLLC’s Intensive Program gives students a great foundational focus to their English Language education by studying 25 hours per week (33 lessons/week). Students can choose two classes from the primary class options, Reading & Writing, Listening & Speaking, and IELTS Preparation or Business English. CLLC’s Elective Plus One class is also included and gives students the opportunity to focus on additional language skills that are different from their primary classes.

This General English language course is made up of 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week including the General English classes. It also allows you to personalise your course by taking 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options.

Our Semi-Intensive English course is a semi-intensive programme that allows you to balance classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. You will improve your English language ability at a speed you feel comfortable with, while having time to enjoy your destination. This course is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced and you will be placed in a class which is suitable for your level. The course focuses on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also learn vocabulary and grammar, and how to speak in formal and informal discussions and strategies.
