BWS Germanlingua will guide you in your journey to study German and enter the university. This course focuses on teaching German and consultation to get into the pre-university (Studienkolleg) or university. Besides the german classes, BWS Germanlingua will assist you with all the documentation needed for the academics and stay in Germany while you are studying.

The programme includes regular, focussed grammar and vocabulary reviews, which allows students to target their individual language needs while developing their academic reading and writing skills. This is all supported by specialised, targeted, online resources through our online learning system, E-LSI.

If you need to improve your overall level of English across the core language skills for career or study purposes, the Academic Year course (AYC) gives you the flexibility of choosing your start date, your preferred area of focus (every six weeks) as well as which internationally-recognised certificates you want to obtain by the end of your course. This means that the AYC allows you to personalise your course according to your learning objectives.The AYC course is popular with students who need a more intensive course to really improve their level of English.  The AYC course includes 6 lessons a day, and requires students to undertake more homework and projects than the General English courses. This helps you to achieve your English language goals faster and more cost effectively.

You can choose from various professions, such as baker’s craft, horticulture, nursing care, and many more. German vocational training is a well-respected professional education that consists of theoretical and practical training in the chosen profession. The student will complete the vocational training in a German company plus the German language lessons.

All students who graduate from the Academic Pathway Program Certificate are able to achieve the required TOEFL/IELTS score and acquire the academic skills to succeed in University. This includes writing essays, researching and giving oral presentations. English for Academic Purposes courses provide language instruction for students who wish to study at a university where English is the language of instruction. Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development for University levels.

The Academic English course at LAB Vancouver is designed to focus on:+ Grammar Structures+ Academic Vocabulary Building+ Reading Comprehension+ Writing SkillsThis course allows students to improve their reading skills and grammar accuracy in both spoken and written English. In this class, a wide variety of reading texts are studied in detail. The diversity in content exposes students to a broad range of vocabulary and grammar, as well as literary forms. Students practice reading comprehension and analyze relationships between words as they practice using new vocabulary in different contexts.
