Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

ILSC is a fully-integrated English instruction institution with modern facilities spread across two floors. ILSC–Melbourne is equipped with a total of 29 classrooms and 2 computer labs. You may be asked to leave the lab if a teacher wished to use the computers for a class. The inviting break-out spaces provide students with access to free filtered water (hot and cold), microwaves and refrigerators, as well as vending machines with snacks and cold drinks available for a nominal fee. The ILSC café, which is run by students, sells during the breaks barista-made coffees as well as tea, chai and hot chocolate. There are several study tables which are equipped with charging stations for you to power up your cell phones and other devices. The campus also has foozball and ping pong tables, as well as a video game console that are free to use. In order to play video games and ping pong, see reception and pay a deposit in order to get access. A prayer room is also available to students.

You can choose from various professions, such as baker’s craft, horticulture, nursing care, and many more. German vocational training is a well-respected professional education that consists of theoretical and practical training in the chosen profession. The student will complete the vocational training in a German company plus the German language lessons.

Improve your English and take college credit courses! This course is ideal if you are interested in art and media and want to try out a few courses orif you want to study more than just English while you are in Vancouver. If you are on a gap semester from your university or college in your home country, this 23- week program gives you great study abroad experience. After you improve your English, you select a specific applied arts area to take 3 courses (12credits). CES is delighted to announce for 2018 new university pathway pre-sessional English language programme in cooperation with NCUK. Students will study at CES for 3, 6 or 9 months to raise their IELTS score to the level required to join our partner delivering the Northern Consortium Foundation Programme (NCUK).This will provide guaranteed access to OVER 300 University courses in universities in the UK and Ireland (subject to achieving correct IELTS and foundation results). The programme will provide expert preparation for the IELTS exam as well as giving students the academic study skills required to succeed in the further and higher education environment.
