St Giles Eastbourne offers International Semester Language Courses to students wishing to experience British life and study General English for 6 months or longer. Additional modules also available at St Giles Eastbourne are: Cambridge English or IELTS exam preparation, English for Business, and English for University Studies

General English Language Courses at Lexis English offer students the flexibility of combining their English language education with a large range of options classes – personalising each student’s course to suit their academic needs. For students wanting to brush up their English skills for travelling, employment or to work towards a placement in one of our academic programs or Certificate or Diploma courses, our General English course is designed to get results. We understand that every english student comes to Australia with unique goals, plans and learning needs. General English Full-Time is CRICOS registered and consists of a minimum of 20 hours per week with an additional 5 hours per week of Guided Individual Learning (GIL).

Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

This French language course includes the Intensive A course plus 5 one to one lessons. 26 Lessons in group classes and 10 individual lessons. The perfect combination as you interact in a group class and focus on your strengths and weaknesses in the afternoon one-to-one lessons.

Private language lessons are the quickest and most intensive way to learn a language or to improve your language skills. The format of the lessons is totally determined by the needs and desires of the student. The hours of this course are flexible which makes it possible to book such a course together with another course option. This course is also perfect as a tutoring or support course to focus on problem areas. You decide the number of daily lessons: two, four or six. All aspects of the language are taught in as short a time possible without being overly demanding.

This course is the standard variant of France Langue's weekly courses. This option is perfect for those willing to start learning the French language or improve and perfect their level while enjoying enough free time to take advantage of their stay in France. This course starts every Monday and accepts any student with any level of the french language. However, complete beginners must start on the first Monday of the month. The standard 20-lesson program (at school) is made of:12 lessons of General French classes + 4 lessons of academic project + 2 lessons of Linguistic Reinforcement + 2 lessons of weekly “Meet the locals” session.

The Intensive French Language Course combines the linguistic learning of the Standard Course with additional French lessons set more specifically to develop all the oral skills (oral comprehension and expression). It is a good balance between all basics of French learning (writing, reading, listening, and speaking), grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, and the use of French to improve your oral expression and your knowledge of France. The hours of this course are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 3 afternoons a week from 1:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Super Intensive French course E includes the morning General French Course A and five afternoon lessons of your choice. This Super Intensive French course E allows our students to add to the three ‘Writing & Grammar’ afternoon lessons or the two ‘Oral communication’ workshops or the two workshops dedicated to ‘French Culture and Civilisation’.
