This course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. With this English language course, you get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week of General English including four lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study.

In the course, you get to talk about lifestyle, leisure, and friendship, among other things. You get to read dialogues and texts and work with word knowledge. We practice natural pronunciation. In grammar, we work with, among other things, word order, adverbs, adjective, and noun inflections, and reflexive verbs. You will learn to write different types of texts.

This General English language course has 24 Lessons per week. Beginner to Advanced levels; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; 2 days (6.5 lessons), 3 days (4 lessons). During the lessons, you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines.

With this General English Plus language course you will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains and competencies appropriate to your level of ability with additional work on fluency and pronunciation. Objectives: This programme of study is intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context. You will improve their language skills and consider factors affecting inter-cultural communication with special emphasis on fluent spoken English and pronunciation, giving you the opportunity to establish relationships and share points of view with international colleagues.

The 25+ Course is designed to make the best use of a short period of study. We aim to improve students' confidence and accuracy when they speak English. The course includes: English language work with a focus on Spoken English and conversation skills. Lessons are designed to develop confidence in using English in both social and professional situations. An adult environment in a building dedicated to our mature students over the age of 25. Social events and excursion possibilities to help students make the most of their short stay in Chester. Students will complete a questionnaire prior to their course and our staff will design the course programme to reflect their needs. With our small classes learning is highly effective and personalised. The one-to-one lessons can focus on: • General English • work-related English • English for Specific Purposes (ESP). This English language course from VanWest Vancouver is based on an integrated skill curriculum, morning classes will teach you specific strategies to improve your English language. This English language course will build students’ understanding of the basic grammar, vocabulary, and functions of the English language.

The Premium 30 French language course is suitable for motivated students wishing to make rapid progress. The sixth daily lesson added to the Intensive 25 course is focused on writing skills organized in a mini-group with a maximum of 6 participants. This is a quick and effective option to improve your oral and written communication skills.

This Intensive Spanish language course increases your classroom time by offering 6 group lessons per day from Monday to Friday. It is just like the classic 20 lessons per week general course but has 2 extra small-group lessons every day. These extra group lessons are generally taught in even smaller groups and focus on conversation, improving your fluency and communication. As the extra lessons are focused mainly on conversation, the Intensive 30 requires you to start with a lower elementary level of Spanish. If you are an absolute beginner and want a more intense course we recommend that you choose any of the combination courses.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

This is a course for those who have completed the course A1 part 1. To be able to take part in a very simple conversation based on given phrases.
