Description​General English programmes are suitable for everyone and provide a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. With a strong focus on communication skills, these courses also provide a solid foundation in the key skills required in the Trinity College London ISE Examinations as well as Cambridge examinations.The method used is task-based, which means that by the end of each level students are expected to be able to complete a certain amount of tasks through English. There is a central course book and workbook and teachers supplement these using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, menus, manuals, brochures and a range of other books.All courses incorporate the use of Digital Interactive Whiteboards, the Internet and audio-visual technology. AwardISI Certificate in English. Our CLIL course is intended for non-native teachers of other subjects who wish to develop their own English language skills and examine the methodology of CLIL - Content and Language Integrated Learning. This course provides opportunities for teachers to discuss and share ideas with colleagues from Europe and beyond.

Our most popular General English language course consists of 20 lessons of General English Fluency group classes per week. The classes focus on improving your accuracy, fluency, and confidence in the English language. With a focus on real-life grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation you will be better able to communicate successfully with people from all over the world. This course runs in the afternoon.

This teacher training course in Dublin focuses on the fundamental aspects of blended learning and how it is utilised in the modern classroom. In conjunction with this focus, this course has a key element of language development in order to aid the course participants’ ability to deliver effective language lessons. We will look at the role of the teacher in a blended classroom and some of the key tools which can be utilised in the blended context.

This course combines 20 lessons of General English classes with additional individual lessons in the afternoons. The morning sessions give you the opportunity to learn in a group setting and practise your skills with other learners. The afternoon sessions allow you to focus in on individual strengths and areas for improvement with your teacher. Before beginning this course, you will complete a needs analysis and interview with a senior member of our academic team so that we can design an individualised programme that meets your needs and requirements.

The GE Fluency Intensive 32 is one of our most intensive general English courses. It allows students to combine 20 lessons of general English in the mornings with 12 lessons of individual training in the afternoons. Before beginning their intensive English language course, students will complete a needs analysis and interview with our Academic Manager to design their individual afternoon program.

English for Academic Purposes courses provide language instruction for students who wish to study at a university where English is the language of instruction. Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development for University levels.
