 The IELTS examination is fast becoming the leading standardised test for English Language globally and the English proficiency test for University admissions in the UK. Our IELTS course aims to prepare students with the skills and strategies needed to undertake the IELTS test with confidence and to succeed in the IELTS examination.  Focussing on the IELTS exam and suitable for students studying for IELTS 5.5 – 7.5, students will practise and develop the skills needed for the exam.  This course is usually recommended for 5-6 weeks. Start dates: we usually have a continuous enrolment policy, this means students can start any Monday, however we would strongly advise to check availability with the school before booking an exam course. Also entry onto these courses is dependent on passing the school pre-test to a sufficient level. A test will be emailed to the student at the time of the booking, however all students will be tested again on arrival. Should students not be at the right level, our directors of studies may suggest they join a General English course until they have reached an adequate level.

TOEFL® is the most popular examination for North American English and is the most widely accepted English language test in the world. Our TOEFL® and Academic English Exam Preparation course will give you the test skills and the level of English that you need to do well on your exam.We focus on test-taking strategies and highlight the academic English skills needed for exam success. The course includes TOEFL®-focused reading, writing, listening and speaking, plus practice exam questions and online simulation tests that mirror the real TOEFL® ibT.Students unable to attend a live course could instead enrol in Kaplan’s TOEFL® Online Course

The exam preparation courses are design to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.

Private lessons will allow students to learn at their own speed and study the content of their choice.

The English for Law course is focused on the specialised language required for working in an international legal environment. You will develop practical skills that will help you discuss commercial legal matters, participate in meetings, negotiate and make presentations more effectively. In particular, our legal English course covers a variety of topics, such as company law, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, human rights and intellectual property, so you can be sure that your vocabulary on this topics will improve noticeably. Furthermore, you will utilise authentic legal texts and case studies to support your learning. Finally, the English for Law course is a perfect complement to some of the General English courses that we offer. Find out how fast you can progress!

The teaching programme can then be tailored to meet these needs and the intensity of the course varied to maximise the use of available time.Full-time one-to-one courses can start on any Monday. These courses normally include 22½ hours of tuition per full week (with a reduction when there is a public holiday in the week).

Langports' Cambridge Flexi CAE (Cambridge Advanced Certificate) level begins every Monday of the year.In the morning, you will study all components of the Cambridge curriculum (writing, reading, listening and speaking) and focus on exam preparation and strategies. In the afternoon, you will be able to choose an Option class and a Language Workshops from the UFO English program and focus on a weakness or even learn new skills! Studying a General Spanish course will give you an understanding of the Spanish language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.
