During the lessons of this General English language course, you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines. 25 Lessons per week; Beginner to Advanced levels; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; 2 days (6.5 lessons), 3 days (4 lessons).

This is a course for you who have read Swedish A1 in its entirety or otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge of Swedish. Once you have reached level A2, you can understand and use words and phrases that have to do with everyday situations such as shopping, asking for directions or describing your family and your living and working conditions. You can participate in simpler conversations.

This General English Language Course is suitable for students who may want to enhance their English language skills before attempting further study in Australia, or for students who want to develop their English to achieve their personal goals. General English develops and builds English language skills such as: - reading, writing and listening skills - structure, grammar, vocabulary, and idioms - speaking, pronunciation and fluency skills communication and conversation strategies.

This General English language course combines both General English and a focus on Conversation and Pronunciation skills. Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. Our English for Conversation and Pronunciation courses are designed for students who want to express themselves more fluently and clearly in spoken English.

You will develop fluency, accuracy and appropriate uses of English across all four language skills. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course. Each level takes 12 weeks to complete. Students are given end of term tests every four weeks.Intermediate - Become familiar with fast-paced conversation skills and practical vocabulary through role play.Upper Intermediate - Build a strong foundation in public speaking, presentation skills, and formal/ informal vocabulary.Advanced - Near native level of fluency through advanced level of presentation, debate and group discussion.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.Languages International’s timetable has three streams. Your classes may be at different times from those in the sample timetable. However, all classes are between 8:30 am and 3:50 pm. All students receive an individual timetable on their first day at school. The 13-hour course consists of 10 60-minute hours in class and 3 60-minute hours of teacher-supervised independent learning.

In this course, you will learn: simple words and phrases, talk about yourself, ask simple questions, and understand simple answers, basic grammar, to talk and write in Swedish about simple subjects and about Swedish culture and society.
