French Courses

This French-language Intensive A Course at ACCORD French Language School in Paris focuses on developing four communication skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The ACCORD French Intensive Course also invites students to explore French culture through the use of authentic material and learn related idiomatic expressions in various contexts. This course starts every Monday, but the start dates for beginners are the first Monday of the month.

This French language course includes the Intensive A course plus 5 one to one lessons. 26 Lessons in group classes and 10 individual lessons. The perfect combination as you interact in a group class and focus on your strengths and weaknesses in the afternoon one-to-one lessons.

The Super Intensive French course E includes the morning General French Course A and five afternoon lessons of your choice. This Super Intensive French course E allows our students to add to the three ‘Writing & Grammar’ afternoon lessons or the two ‘Oral communication’ workshops or the two workshops dedicated to ‘French Culture and Civilisation’.

The long-term intensive French Language course for teens works on the 4 skills according to the CEFRL (the Common European framework of reference for languages): you learn to read, write, listen and speak so as to better understand and assimilate French language basics. Learning French grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation exercise all contribute to improving your communication skills. With this in mind, our French school in Montpellier carefully tailors its French immersion programs to suit each level.

The Intensive 25 French language course differs from the Standard 20 course in that it offers a more in-depth study of the French language thanks to five additional lessons per week dedicated to oral communication. With a core foundation built on general linguistic skills, extra attention is also given to verbal communication, helping you grasp the subtleties of the French language.

Our French Standard course is an essential basis for understanding the French language in all its aspects by working on both oral and written skills. The intensive French Long Term course for adults is made up of 10 additional lessons focused on oral practice to help make communicating with French people daily easier. You will get the chance to test your French before your arrival thanks to our placement test which helps us to place you in the best class adapted to your French level, from A1 (Beginner) level to level C2 (Advanced).

At the end of the four week session, your french language level will be assessed. You can then choose new courses and/or move up a level in yourcurrent or new course. Conversation workshops cover themes such as typical day-to-day situations or themes related to culture, current events, literature, cinema or music. The Intensive French Language Course combines the linguistic learning of the Standard Course with additional French lessons set more specifically to develop all the oral skills (oral comprehension and expression). It is a good balance between all basics of French learning (writing, reading, listening, and speaking), grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, and the use of French to improve your oral expression and your knowledge of France. The hours of this course are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 3 afternoons a week from 1:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
