Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Our General English program is ideal for all English language learners, from absolute beginners to advanced proficiency. Classes cover everything from reading and writing to speaking and listening, as well as vocabulary, idioms, grammar, and pronunciation. Our outstanding teachers and small class sizes create an optimal learning environment. New students can start any Monday!

The Intensive English Language Course consists of 25 weekly lessons that are divided into 20 general English lessons + 3 optional workshops + 2 additional free-choice specific English lessons. A characteristic of this school is its personal treatment, since, according to the results of your level exam, you will receive a learning program adapted to your learning objectives.

This General English language course has 92 individual lessons. Beginner to advanced levels. 9 consecutive days; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 68 hours 20 minutes. Courses begin: every Saturday, Includes lunchtime lessons with teacher; Ages: 16 +. This course is perfect for those with exacting needs which must be met in a short space of time. Requiring just one week away from the office, this course is ideal for busy professionals and executives who need to prepare for presentation and meetings abroad.

A Standard English course helps you develop all the skills that you need to learn and understand English for everyday use, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking.The key aim of the class is to improve your ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Our ESL classes are based on a unique UMC Model that maximizes student-teacher interaction and communicative learning when studying English. Designed and created in UMC, our unique techniques and activities used in the classroom are designed to develop both fluency AND accuracy with the ultimate goal of language production. Each lesson is allocated to different skills such as listening strategies, vocabulary development, reading, writing skills, pronunciation, fluency improvement and so on. That maximizes our 4-week terms and allows you to focus on the core skills you need to become proficient. UMC has official start dates every 4 weeks in Toronto.

This morning Semi-Intensive French Language Course at ACCORD Paris French language school focuses on developing the four communication skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The emphasis will be on improving confidence in speaking and listening in French in a range of everyday situations. Subjects covered in class include: topical vocabulary and language, study of grammatical structures, pronunciation and listening skills, social skills, cultural awareness, reading and writing skills, conversational French.

The General English Language program develops students’ English language communication skills. There is a strong focus on building confidence and fluency. Above all, in a friendly and fun environment! Through a communicative approach, students practice their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Furthermore there are opportunities to learn these skills in a variety of ‘real life’ situations. Discover English, Melbourne offers six levels of General English from Beginner to Advanced. Our Beginner level class accepts students with very little exposure to English. For example, students who have not yet acquired a single word. No one’s level is too low. In contrast, our Advanced General English class is for students with high level communicative skills. Students can attend additional 10 hrs of free classes - 5 hrs of supervised library with a teacher and 5 hrs of extras - different electives each day.

This Intensive Spanish language course increases your classroom time by offering 6 group lessons per day from Monday to Friday. It is just like the classic 20 lessons per week general course but has 2 extra small-group lessons every day. These extra group lessons are generally taught in even smaller groups and focus on conversation, improving your fluency and communication. As the extra lessons are focused mainly on conversation, the Intensive 30 requires you to start with a lower elementary level of Spanish. If you are an absolute beginner and want a more intense course we recommend that you choose any of the combination courses.
