Mix individual and group classes to make the most of an opportunity to use your French language skills with other international students whilst devoting some more specific time to your individual needs. This course has 15 hours in the morning, in our international groups + 15 hours one-to-one lessons, adapted to the individual student and their particular needs.

French in Normandy provides DALF and DELF preparation courses designed to prepare students for the exams. The DELF and DALF exams assess the communicative skills of a candidate in real situations using authentic documents. They evaluate functional knowledge of communication. They are issued by the French Ministry of Education and as such, they are recognized everywhere in the world. DELF corresponds to basic skills in French. It certifies that its holder is able to communicate in normal everyday situations.It is divided into 4 units: A1, A2, B1 and B2.DALF corresponds to proficiency level in French. It is divided into 2 units: C1 and C2.10 hours of specific exam preparation workshops in the afternoon, in groups of 12 students maximum.All levels offered from A1 to C2 all year round.This includes a free access to our daily activities at school (Grammar Fun, Theatre/Book/Cine Clubs), which can add up to 5 hours per week of extra practice of the French language.Examination fees not included

General French Language Courses are our basic language skills courses which we offer all through the year. The Intensive course is organised as follows:the 15 hours are taught in the morning, in groups of 12 students maximum and are based on communicative French language and structural progression. The other 10 hours are taught in the afternoons, in groups of 12 students maximum, the lessons are organised in a series of workshops based around specific skills and cultural topics.

The « French course for long stays » is suited to students who wish to have a full linguistic and cultural experience over several months and to become proficient in the French language. By choosing this program you are guaranteed to improve your French and gain at least 1 or 2 levels of the CECR. The goals are to:- Understand- Communicate- Express yourself orally and in writing by developing all four skills (speaking, writing, reading, and listening) daily.

Course start date: : Each Monday for all levels except for complete beginners. The DELDF / DALF are language diplomas that are recognised at a national level which certify a linguistic aptitude in French. Our DELF / DALF preparation programmes allow you to confidently tackle the exams and ensure your success on the day of the exam.The classes for preparation DELF and DALF offer intensive preparation for exams. In addition to the STANDARD course, you will have 6 lessons per week in a small group of a maximum of 5 students to prepare for the exam of your choice: DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2, DALF C1, DALF C2.The STANDARD classes allow you to gain the fundamental skills for the chosen level of exam.The preparation modules for the DELF / DALF train you to master the 4 language skills assessed during the exam: written, oral and oral and written comprehension.
