Spanish Courses

The Semi-Intensive Spanish Course of 10 lessons is taught in small groups, with students who have the same level of Spanish as you. You will work on all aspects of the language: grammar, conversation, and vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, and writing in Spanish. Courses have a communicative character and will give you the confidence to use your Spanish in everyday situations. In choosing the intensive 10 you will normally be in a class with students following the Intensive 20 course. This requires more dedication and self-study outside the actual lessons, in order for you to follow the pace of the group. If you are an absolute beginner we recommend that you attend one of the general intensive courses, combination courses or individual lessons. Classes generally take place in the morning. Depending on the season and destination, classes could be in the afternoon.

The DELE or Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language are official titles which certify test takers' level of understanding and command of the Spanish language, and which are granted by the Instituto Cervantes in the name of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain.  These certificates are valued internationally. DELE exams follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe and are held for six language levels: A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2.

SIELE certifies your degree of Spanish proficiency through four tests that evaluate different linguistic skills. You can take either the global exam which certifies for all four skills or individual exams which certify each one individually. The exam is offered all year round, upon request.

Studying a General Spanish course will give you an understanding of the Spanish language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.
