At Nacel English School, you can study English classes in London from elementary to advanced levels. For our General English language courses, we use the most up-to-date, relevant course-books, materials and resources. Our teachers aim to incorporate the latest, most effective English language teaching methods into their lessons; while maintaining our core approach of developing and integrating your pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar; as well as your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The School stresses the importance of the teacher-student school relationship. This course runs in the afternoons.

The Compact Course offers 20 lessons (15 hours) of general English lessons per week in the UK. Lessons will improve all your key skills at a consistent rate: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. You will be assigned to your general English class based on your current Kings Level. We have classes suitable for students at Level 1 (Beginner) right through to Level 8 (Advanced), and you will progress up through the levels as your skills improve and your confidence grows. The Compact Course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

Our Intensive General English language courses have been developed over many years of teaching experience. Innovative and communicative teaching methods are used and form the basis of our teaching. Our General English Programme offers a choice of courses for everyone who needs an improved level of English for academic, social or professional reasons. This specific General English course has 30 lessons per week: 20 lessons of structured English language tuition and practice; Plus 5 lessons of language extension activities to develop your vocabulary, listening comprehension and oral fluency: Plus 5 lessons to Develop general communication skills with the English for Success Programme: - English Skills for UK Life - Speaking and Listening for Success - Writing and Reading for Success

The General English language course offers students the perfect balance between language training and leisure time. A communicative approach developing fluency in speaking, listening, reading and writing ensures that the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation components are applied to actual language use. Our teachers assess their students' learning needs and objectives on the first day, and then plan their lessons accordingly. In this way, our students are motivated to keep improving, while also having a good time!

This course includes the General English classes, and also allows you to personalise your course by taking an additional 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of electives. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course. As your English and your confidence improve, you will broaden your horizons and gain a huge advantage in your chosen career or education. This programme is for students who study for 24 weeks or more.

This General English language course consists of the 20 lessons of the General Main English course plus 8 additional lessons per week which provide further practice in all aspects of English. The timetable below is a sample. Please note that timetables are subject to the English of the student. Classes can be either in the morning or afternoon. Our standard General English language course allows you to improve all areas of your English language: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing. General English is available as an intensive course (28 lessons per week). For the intensive course you can choose from our optional classes which include Communication Skills, Grammar and Writing, IELTS Preparation and many more. On the Intensive courses, you will: - Learn ‘real’ English using the latest course books and materials. - Learn, review and put into practice new language every day. - Be able to develop your communication skills by working with other students doing activities such as role-plays, pair work and group discussions. - Explore new techniques to help you improve your listening and reading. - Practise and improve your writing skills by analysing and producing documents such as emails, formal and informal letters and reports. - Have regular tutorials with your teacher to discuss your progress. - Get up to 2 hours of homework each evening.
