The Core General English language course is based on the four language skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. We encourage your fluency and confidence in the language. Your teachers will use the most efficient techniques to ensure you develop accurate grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. At the start of your course  you will also receive 1 year’s subscription to BEET Online (our online learning platform) and you'll also be able to join BEET's Social Programme at least 4 nights per week.

Our International Academic Year Programme is designed for students who want to study for 24 weeks or more. Our standard course lengths are 24, 34 or 44 weeks; however you are able to study for longer if you wish. There are lots of benefits including the freedom to move from one course to another without any additional cost. For example, you could start with a General English programme to improve your overall level and then transfer to a Cambridge Examination Preparation course or an IELTS Preparation programme, depending on your individual needs.

By following a General English language Course, students will increase their accuracy in grammar and will increase their competence and confidence in the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Students following the Intensive English Course follow the same programme as those in the General English Course, with the addition of a 6-hour negotiated syllabus. The aim of this English language course is to fill in gaps in the students' knowledge and expertise and to address students’ particular needs.

Our Intensive General English language courses have been developed over many years of teaching experience. Innovative and communicative teaching methods are used and form the basis of our teaching. Our General English Programme offers a choice of courses for everyone who needs an improved level of English for academic, social or professional reasons. This specific General English course has 30 lessons per week: 20 lessons of structured English language tuition and practice; Plus 5 lessons of language extension activities to develop your vocabulary, listening comprehension and oral fluency: Plus 5 lessons to Develop general communication skills with the English for Success Programme: - English Skills for UK Life - Speaking and Listening for Success - Writing and Reading for Success

Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation.Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

Studying a General English language course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. The lessons cover the most important aspects of learning English, including grammar and pronunciation, which will help you improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
